Great stay at Old Florida Cottages house in Santa Rosa Beach
This is a lovely 2 bedroom home that 4 of us stayed in recently during our trip to Santa Rosa Beach. Even though we were here during the rain and storms from Hurricane Francine (that made landfall in Louisiana but impacted weather here most of the week) we managed to have a good time. The home is located very close to the beach (5 minute walk down) and it's a great beach there also. Restrooms and showers and bike racks as well as public parking available at beach entrance. Home was furnished very nicely, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, recently remodeled and nice bathrooms also. Location is perfect as well for shopping, restaurants, bike rentals, and near the wonderful Blue Mountain Creamery for ice cream and the Blue Mountain Bakery, which has delicious breakfast and lunch food. Gulf Place is a close walk or short bike ride away with shopping and places to eat also (Pizza by the Sea - great place!) Our family enjoyed every minute and we would love to come back!

Good Location but...
I recently stayed at this vacation rental with my family and was thrilled with the location—it was incredibly convenient and close to everything we wanted to explore. Unfortunately, the overall experience was marred by the presence of roaches and other insects. Despite the ideal location and the rental's potential, the pest issue made our stay uncomfortable and less enjoyable than we had hoped especially considering my small children were there. I did notify the property manager who offered to have pest control come out but then realized that had just treated tye property prior to our arrival. The property could also use a deep cleaning and new paint job on the interior. I hope the property management addresses this concern promptly, as the location truly deserves a better rating.

Perfect Paradise Hidden
Wow. This little cottage home was perfect place to have the experience of the beach while having the loving neighbor family houses we are used to in Texas. Close to the beach and lots of other places to visit.

Great Vacation.
Property was clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. Location was great and the HOA had a reserved area on the beach for lounging. The pool was just cross the street as well. As a bonus there was a closet on the back porch filled with beach toys and a few chairs to use. Will definately stay here again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. It was a very pleasant cottage to enjoy some much needed down time. The cottage was very comfortable, loved the beachy decor, and homey feel.

Old Florida Fun
This is our first time staying in Santa Rosa Beach but it will not be our last. The location is great, and the neighborhood is very nice. Got a great deal, it’s an awesome location and we will try and book here again!

30a gem
We loved the location of this property and proximity to beach, restaurants and 30a fun! The rooms were nice, beds comfortable, and bathrooms great. Kitchen had almost everything you would want in your own kitchen, and nice pantry space. WiFi was great, which isn’t always the case on 30a! There were a few items broken, including a Kitchen cabinet door, but it did not affect our stay, and we reported to Evolve for fixing! Overall would definitely recommend this location and property!

Bare bones rental - needs some help
We were quite disappointed in our stay, from beginning - our check in directions we’re incorrect so we were hunting around for a lock box that apparently didn’t exist- we had to contact property manager for help. Ground floor had living room and kitchen. Would have liked more seating in the living room beside just one small couch and chair. Also from the first night we noticed the television did not work and the property manager also did not know how to assist so we were whole stay without TV- not the biggest deal because we were at beach but you would expect everything to work for price you are paying. The kitchen has almost no cooking supplies so be prepared to bring everything from home- coffee filters, coffee, seasonings, oils, plastic wrap tin foil etc. kitchen also had quite a few dishes in the cabinets that were quite dirty which was not great to see. The bedrooms upstairs were a bit small but alright, the bathroom towels were literally the thinnest smallest towels we have seen though, I compare them to trying to use a paper towel as a bath towel. Overall houses style was just outdated in general, this has potential to be good rental but need to upgrade a lot of things to make it worth the cost. The only saving grace was that it’s walking distance from beach so the location and neighborhood were great, but there are many other houses in 30 A we have stayed in that are much more updated and better quality

Sweet stay!
We had a perfect time! The house was clean and cute! It was just what we needed for our time here! The location is close to the beach and other fun places to ride bikes! We loved the pool only a few steps away! We will be back!

A great vacation
Vacation was great, location awesome. There's not much to complain about just a few items that I would bring up one is that the cleaners can do a better job in the second one would be fixing the front door it is very difficult to open if there was an emergency it would be challenging to get out quickly. One of the biggest things I loved about the property is that it had everything you needed at the house to cook.
