House has potential, management company was lacking

While the house itself had a lot of potential, the management company (Coastal Dreamin) seems to be either uninformed or unresponsive to the issues this property has. We had to email and have them send out someone to spray for bugs (undesirable with small children) and to have the floors cleaned because they were filthy. We found the bathrooms had not been properly cleaned either. They responded quickly to those initial issues however we still found multiple spiders, ants and a roach in the house during the remainder of our stay. The rugs had a lot of dirt and hair under them as well. The sofas and dining chairs had multiple stains and unfortunately the bedroom our baby was sleeping in had AC issues. Despite the thermostat being set on 68 upstairs, his room would get up to 77-80 degrees at night and he would wake up sweating and crying and we’d have to try and squeeze him in with us in the queen bed downstairs. The golf cart parking break also would not work properly on a hill so we had issues parking it at the pool and places we went that weren’t level. The down stairs bedroom furniture was cute but antique so it didn’t function well enough to use and there was no where to hang all our wet towels because the door hook was broken off in 2 of the bathrooms. Overall so much potential in this rental, just didn’t seem to be maintained well. I hate leaving less than stellar reviews but in fairness I did email all these concerns to Coastal Dreamin but they never responded. This was disappointing since they responded within hours during our stay but it’s been over a week now and nothing since we checked out. Next time we will use a different management company. I also submitted this review on their website which they seem to have censored out and not posted. Still zero contact from the property managers since I contacted them about these concerns (with multiple pictures).

Family vacation

We loved this place. Great location close to multiple beaches. The pool was wonderful. The house was perfect very clean and well decorated. The gulf cart made it very easy to get to the beach without any hassle. Will return to this location again

Beautiful Getaway

The house was beautiful and in a great neighborhood. The pool and hot tub were very nice and the kids loved it. Just a short golf cart ride to the beach, shops, etc. We were very happy with our stay and hope to book again in the future!

Great stay near Blue Mountain Beach!

House was exactly as listed, clean, and perfect for our family. Golf cart was definitely needed as it is a bit of a walk to beach. Great pool area! Would rent again!
