The hotel is nice and the rooms were cleaned. However PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE AREA, Do NOT go inside the water, it’s contaminated and can lead to serious health problems. The surroundings are also not very safe so if you plan to stay in the hotel and enjoy the amenities that is great, but if you want to enjoy the beach, go to beaches in El Rodadero. This part of town is not the best in safety and the beaches are dirty.

Amazing location - with a view to match

We had just 3 days at the Hotel Catedral Plaza and were SO disappointed to leave. The staff were all VERY friendly and accomodating. We were especially impressed with Gladys, a restaurant and bar server. Breakfast was impressive, with plenty of hot and cold choices - all included in the price. And what can I say about the pool? Absolute heaven - from places to sit to the amazing view!

A few bad apples spoil the bunch

The front desk staff have to be the rudest people that I’ve ever dealt with. The bad: there is no bottled water in the room, no coffee maker, Direct Tv did not work. The good: the people working on the 6 th floor are very nice, the pool is clean, the bed was comfy. First impressions mean a lot and when you get treated like crap when you walk in and when you check out it leaves a bad impression. Please speak with the front seat staff, it really is a nice hotel. Just a few bad people working there.
