"The cabin was exceptionally clean and had everything one needs for a stay near San Ignacio. Juliet and Tony were fantastic hosts, finding us tours, recommending great local eats and were available at all times when we had questions. They made us feel right at home. The breakfast prepared was delicious and was super special as they served us right on the covered porch as we watched the birds. We really loved our stay and would recommend to fellow travelers. "

"Our family had a great time during our spring break. The house was clean, comfortable, and in a great location for our day trips to the ATM cave, Mayan ruins in Belize, and visiting Tikal. The host was great and met us on arrival and was there for check out. You should also consider arranging for the arrival dinner. It was really good and made for a relaxing first night.the gardens were beautiful, well maintained and the kids loved the pool."

"We stayed here mainly to visit Mayan temples in the region. There are 2 super markets in a 2 min walking distance and because we had a rental car we did not mind not being closer to downtown San Ignacio. It is not that far, but for walking it is. The house had all needed facilities and functioning appliances, but don’t expect modern state of the art US style appliances. Overall good value for money."

"I originally had some hesitation after reading older reviews, but I’m so glad we went ahead with this stay. The host has clearly listened to feedback and made amazing upgrades. Now all the bedrooms have air conditioning, which made a huge difference—everyone slept comfortably even in the summer heat. They also added a water heater, so we enjoyed nice hot showers whenever we wanted, and we had absolutely no issues with the toilets during our stay.Overall, this home far exceeded our expectations....

"This was one of the best experiences we have had. Absolutely loved the Premier Treehouse and the staff was friendly and amazing. The food was very good and big portions. Esmeralda was fabulous. She explained everything in detail. We briefly mentioned we were there for our anniversary and the next day our room was decorated. This was a big surprise and meant a lot to us. Also, she brought everyone umbrellas when it started raining and wasn’t letting up. Her attention to detail was very apparent. The bartender at the pool side was also fabulous. He made the BEST drinks and provided great recommendations as to the excursions. We also did horseback riding on site and very much enjoyed this. The views were amazing and I would recommend doing this. The atmosphere and feeling of being in the jungle was what I was looking for. I would stay here again. "

"We stayed at this property with our 3 teenage children for four nights. The view of the hillside is spectacular and the property is one of the most unique and beautiful that we have ever stayed. The directions to the house were very clear. The road up to the house is unpaved and pretty bumpy. Only one room has air conditioning but the others have fans and they helped on the hot nights. One of our favorite memories of the trip was having Consuelo cook a traditional Belizean meal. We will never forget how delicious and special it was! "

"We stayed here in October 2025 for four nights. This boutique hotel shares a building with a small coffee shop and bakery, where you can conveniently charge items directly to your room. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of many restaurants and tour operators. The staff was friendly and helpful—especially Carrol, who checked us in. The entire property was exceptionally clean—so much so that I wondered if we were the first guests to stay in our room! The welcome drink was a lovely surprise after a long day of travel, and the bar area was very nice. There’s a water purifier in the shared hallway, which was perfect for filling our reusable bottles. The area was quiet, and it was wonderful to enjoy coffee on our private balcony each morning. Free parking on the premises was another big plus. The only (very minor) downside is that the bakery/coffee shop doesn’t open until 8 a.m., and there aren’t bulk coffee or breakfast options early in the morning. However, there’s a single-cup coffee brewer in the room, and staff are happy to provide extra coffee packets. We’d absolutely stay here again—highly recommend! "
