This was a terrible trip resulting in an early departure 1 day early. Online pictures are misleading. Rooms were not ready, and the wait was nearly an hour. 2 adults in our party were seniors in their 80's. Both rooms were in the back of the hotel. When asked for a refund guest were told there were to be no refunds, but we as guests witness refunds provided to another guest. Both rooms were dark, the decor was old,
neighboring property's family members were looking into one of the 2 rooms. 2nd room had a view of a beige wall, uncomfortable beds. The sofa sleeper mattress was thin and was uncomfortable, so guest slept on the floor. 1 tiny bar of soap for 4 people per room, no privacy unless curtains were closed in 1 room, fridge not cooling in one room, not enough wash clothes per room, language barrier between staff and guest. Staff tried to use his phone to interpret language and had to get another staff member to fill request. Staff members were not personable, we as guest departed 1 full day early. A key had to remain in the door to keep the lights on. Poor customer service. We as guest were charged for purchases not made, as well as parking. When we spoke to front desk (Dany) she seemed bothered by the call itself but did refund the additional charges after departure. The only good experience in this trip was the television programming. Unfortunately, this will never be a hotel we'd revisit. Very displeased. We would appreciate the opportunity to speak with Expedia.
