Fantastic place - outside photos do not do it justice. A little haven of peace, quiet and superb service just 10 minutes from the airport. Service with a smile from the family owners. All food is freshly prepared (mostly from their own gardens), with a great range of savory and sweet dishes for breakfast. Evening meals are offered and are well worth taking - superb local, traditional foods at prices that you'd find hard to beat in the locality if you ventured out. Pool is adequate size for anyone bar an avid distance swimmer, with kiddies section if needed for younger ones. The whole property is spotless. There is a mini golf course, table tennis, the swimming pool, plus more for children. If you like your animals then there are ca 100 tortoises in the grounds, plus horses, chickens, ducks and even emus ! in the neighbouring paddocks. Whilst there we booked a second stay in September. Perhaps I should have kept this review to myself, it's a little piece of heaven - like having your own villa with staff !!!

A real Gem with heavenly food and a fabulous famil

What a gem! Alfonso, Marianna and their lovely Italian family and friends run this very special place. It is so much more than a small rural hotel, it is like staying with friends with a centre of excellence for food. It is peaceful despite its proximity to the airport. Yes you can hear planes at the pool but it isn’t loud or intrusive. The airport is shut overnight and take off and landings are not that frequent. The pool area is great and we tended to have a late afternoon swim and relax after our days out. A car is necessary to be able to explore the beautiful Island. However if you do just want to chill there is a crazy golf, boules and table tennis. The evening meals are delicious, Alfonso and Marianna are very talented chefs. We intended to go out for dinner on our second night but there was no point as the restaurant had a wonderful ambiance and the format of the meal was changed each night. Alfonso went to market every day then decided what to cook. The three nights we ate there were about 4 different savoury courses followed by desert. There was no choice but we love anything anyway and I am sure Alfonso would accommodate any dietary requirements. Evening meals and drinks were extremely affordable, indeed we didn’t even know the cost until we checked out. The lunch we had there was also fantastic. Breakfasts are really good with changes each day. Amazing Italian pastries. We would definitely return.

Alfonso and his wife are amazing hosts. I cannot speak more highly of our experience. His food is wonderful, the rooms are very nice and the grounds are beautiful. There is even a garden with many box turtles as well as a mini golf course! This was our second time staying and look forward to visiting again. Grazie Alfonso!

Au calme et en pleine nature

Suite à une erreur de réservation de la centrale, avons trouvé porte close car l'établissement était fermé. Heureusement, nous avons pu contacter le propriétaire qui a réagi immédiatement en proposant de venir et d'ouvrir son établissement bien qu'il soit fermé. A remis le chauffage en route, et proposé un dîner excellent. Petit déjeuner. Tout dans la bonne humeur et gentillesse. Donc un très grand merci. Professionnalisme à souligner !
