"I stayed at The Giri Residence with two friends for four days in mid-July. The hotel and location were gorgeous. We wanted a relaxing stay for a holiday and to celebrate my 40th birthday. While the rooms and hotel were stunning, we felt that customer service was very disappointing. The staff were nice and polite but they were not very attentive. Prior to arrival, I had made hotel staff aware that three of us would be sharing our suite - despite this, they only stocked the room for two people and...

"On arrival we received a very warm welcome, the staff are very attentive and helpful. Our room was clean and bright, bed was very comfortable as we're the pillows. The only downside was the smell of drains not only in our room but around the hotel I think there must have been some sort of an issue as there were a maintenance team looking at this on day 2 of our stay. But dont let this put you off. The breakfast is a must, so well presented and plenty of choice."

"Great villa for our family holiday. Clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay (including very comfy beds!). Great location, just 5 mins drive from a shop and 15 mins to nearest beach (which was lovely). Recommend."

"Pros: Het zwembad en de mooie grote tuin en rustige ligging Cons: Feedback alles is een beetje gedateerd binnen en de badkamers mogen best een update krijgen. Een douchegordijntje is niet meer van deze tijd maar het voldeed allemaal wel. Meer keukenspullen want met 8 mensen was dat wel erg magertjes met alleen wat kleine pannetjes. Maar je hoeft maar te vragen en ze regelen het meteen."

"Pros: The quality of the property, every need catered for from lovely fresh towels, BBQ, great kitchen, lovely pool, views, three good sized double bedrooms, fantastic communication and assistance from the host who couldn't have been more helpful. Immaculately clean Cons: Great location but hadn't realised it was off quite a main road, not really a problem but with young children we couldn't walk from the property. A minor point and would NOT stop us coming again"
