Our stay started off a bit rocky, but Regina and Aaron, the front desk clerks, were incredibly kind and helpful. Regina promptly addressed my concerns about the night clerk in the morning and ensured that the issue was resolved. Aaron was a pleasant person throughout the weekend. I noticed that he was attentively listening to guests and assisting everyone with a warm smile. I must also commend the bartenders at the poolside. They deserve a 20% tip and more! Their exceptional service made our stay even more special. They made the hotel feel like a resort overseas. The only downside was the Tigress restaurant manager and her front desk hostess team. My food arrived less desirable, and they ignored or even bypassed or exacerbated the situation. However, the bartender Ben understood our concerns and saw the deliberate act of the kitchen. He took care of it promptly and removed the items from the bill. However, this should've never happened. I should've never gotten food that was undesirable or uneatable. The owner/head chef Izzy would be disappointed especially since I got sick. I do miss the old young ladies - hostesses from the Caribbean they were fun and engaging to all customers. The goal is to respect and treat all customers the same and not try to segregate or give another bad service or bad food because of presumptions of who you think they may or may not be. Bad tuna is horrible to any person!

I enjoyed my stay! The place was beautiful and well stocked with all of the basics, very clean and well maintained. The site was gorgeous and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. I even saw an employee stop his routine to help an injured grasshopper! Loved my time at Casa Ybel and plan to return!

Beach view is amazing. Renovated rooms are clean and very nice. A huge upgrade from before. Resteraunts and entertainment especially the Sundeck are very good. Don't like that there is no parking discount if you are staying. Also not enough discount if you want to rent a beach chair. But the convenience and the views are well worth the stay .
