This lovely hotel is a bit of an uphill hike from the center of San Miguel de Allende (adding a nice workout to a shopping or dining excursion). The rooms are very pretty. The rainfall shower head was an unexpected pleasure. The rooftop terrace provides gorgeous views of the city. The lack of air conditioning made it a little uncomfotable during the recent heatwave. A fan was provided.

The rooftop patio views are amazing at night and quiet. The room was beautiful bed comfortable, with exception poor ventilation. needs AC or window . Walk to hotel from Centro de San Miguel de Allende is STEEP, i recommend taxi 70 pesos ( 4 bucks) or local bus Camino ( under a dollar) the bus stop feet away from this beautiful Gem. AMAZING Staff.

The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are fabulous. The staff is really accommodating and gets you anything you ask for. HOWEVER if you plan to stay here, be sure to rent a car, find parking or use a taxi or a bus because walking to this place is the worst ever. You have to climb a very long steep, very steep hill to get back to the hotel from downtown and it’s all on cobblestone. I spent my entire entire week walking up and down the cobblestone steep hill and it was very unpleasant. The hotel is not located near the downtown area where most of the restaurants and stores and amenities are located. This hotel will be great if you have a car, but then you would have to find parking somewhere, there is also a beautiful roof patio that has a full view of the city which is really beautiful. Since I was new to the area, it would’ve been nice if the hotel staff had told me about some of the shops and cafés that were actually right next-door but I never saw them because I didn’t go that direction to go downtown.

El servicio es lo mejor de quedarse en este hotel, el cual desde el momento de nuestra llegada hasta el de salida fue excelente, principalmente por parte de Oscar, quien siempre se mostró muy atento a nuestras necesidades. La habitación contaba con todo lo necesario, un espacio adecuado y una cama cómoda. La limpieza se realizó diariamente de manera correcta. Cuentan con una linda terraza donde se puede pasar un momento tranquilo para tomar un trago o simplemente descansar y admirar la vista panorámica a la ciudad. La ubicación está muy cerca del centro, sin embargo, debido a la inclinación de las calles, los trayectos de ida y regreso pueden ser agotadores si se realizan a pie. En general es una excelente opción para hospedarse, con una relación calidad/precio muy difícil de superar.

Our stay exceeded our expectations. Oscar and his staff were lovely and helpful. Our Spanish isn’t great so there were many times Google translate was very helpful when Oscar was not there. If you plan on having an afternoon siesta, like us, you may decide to take a cab ride (80 pesos) or local bus (8 pesos) at least one direction. The hotel is close to the centre of town but uphill and sometimes we just wanted to ‘save’ our legs for other walking. I sure hope we get to go back to SMA soon and stay here again! (FYI amazing sunsets on the rooftop patio!)

The hotel was listed in the zona central. It was pretty far from the downtown area, not really in terms of distance but the hill that had to be climbed from downtown to the hotel was pretty steep and strenuous. The hotel is on a fairly busy street with cars, buses and trucks going by and lots of exhaust fumes.

Had a great time here. The owner/manager was fantastic. Lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Some of the stairs to the rooms are pretty steep so let them know if you have mobility issues. The hike down to the town is steep but there are lots of cabs to drive you back if necessary. San Miguel is very touristy but worth a visit if you are in Mexico.

Easy parking complementary parking. Hotel is walking distance to church and plaza (about 10 mins), very safe area. It’s uphill, so walk back feels a bit heavy. The hotel is clean, well kept. Attentive staff. No food options in hotel, but lost of options in the center. There is hot water. No A/C, but it was cold so no need, can’t say how hot it is during summer. Would book again on another trip. Hotel is pretty and rustic.

Hola Diana, primeramente muchas gracias de nueva cuenta por tu reservación, gracias también por tu opinión; y respecto del valet parking, una disculpa, por lo general soy quien hace esa función para brindarles un mejor servicio, sin embargo por causas de fuerza mayor tuve que estar fuera de San Miguel, y para evitar temas mayores (siniestros, golpes al auto), la instrucción que tiene mi personal es no mover los coches y que sean los propios huéspedes, es menos práctico, si lo es, pero lo mas conveniente y seguro para cuidar su patrimonio, en este caso su vehículo; esperamos no se vuelva ha repetir, y los esperamos pronto!! (recompensaremos esta experiencia; lo prometo!) saludos.

El hotel es muy lindo, la atención excelente, hay buena vista desde la azotea, el estacionamiento no está en la propiedad pero Oscar muy amablemente lo lleva y lo regresa a la salida. Llegar al centro a pie es muy fácil sin embargo para regresar es pura subida, recomiendo tomar un taxi. Muy buen lugar para hospedarse.

The hotel operator, Oscar, was extremely nice and helpful from the moment we arrived until we departed. Oscar gave us many local tips for where to eat and arranged a priviate driver for us to visit the pyramid. We picked this hotel away from the town center thinking it would be quieter than hotels near the the town center. Didn't know this hotel was on a heavily travelled road with city busses passing often. No very quiet location but using ear plugs to sleep helped. Beautiful view of the city from the hotel rooftop which we'd often watch the sunset with a bottle of wine.

La propiedad es pintorezca, bonita, cómoda. Los cuartos están muy bien. Un poco de humedad en la planta baja. El internet de la planta bajo fallaba. Lindo mirador. Si bien no es crítico, hay que caminar hacia el centro del pueblo, de bajada no es problema, pero de regreso hay que subir y resulta cansado si lo hacers varias veces.

El lugar es hermoso, súper lindo y limpio, cuidaron cada detalle en la decoración, la ubicación es privilegiada, pero lo mejor es el trato que recibimos. I highly recommend this hotel. It is clean, quiet and in a great location. Oscar, the Manager, is kind, helpful and patient. A bonus for travelers with limited Spanish speaking ability, is his fluency in English. The only caveat is that if you have limited mobility, be sure to let the hotel know in advance so they can put you in a suitable room as some can only be reached via a spiral staircase.

Súper lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff who were at your service for anything. My room was so clean, it was tidied every day to perfection, the bed was very comfy, the shower was hot, big and powerful. Gorgeous rooftop with great view over the city. Only thing was the curtains were very thing and light coloured so got woke up quite early. Otherwise would recommend to anyone looking for a really reasonably priced hotel!
