The Cozy Cabin is located in a private corner of a gated 5 acre property. Outside offers big skies and a seating area with views consisting of open pastures. This location is plenty with fauna and flora. Come recharge and live the country life with the benefits of the city. Located 2 miles from San marcos premium outlets and walking distance to the San marcos high school.

Adorable cozy cabin

Cabin is exactly as described. It was cute and cozy, in a quiet location. Perfect for myself and my son. It has one ac in the bedroom that cooled the whole cabin just fine. I highly recommend anyone looking for an oasis in the country to definitely book this cabin. The owners are very responsive and the cabin has everything you need and then some.

Great weekend stay

The Cozy Cabin was perfect for our weekend stay to visit family! It is just the right size for a couple. Josh was very responsive to any questions, and he and Heather were wonderful hosts. The cabin had all the little extras to make us feel at home. We also enjoyed seeing the horses and other animals. Even though it is super convenient to all San Marcos has to offer, you really feel like you are away from it all. Would definitely recommend!

Quiet and peaceful

It was great to be away from traffic noise and hallway commotion you most often encounter at a motel. The atmosphere at the Cozy Cabin was as described and it was immaculately clean. The location is ideal as I-35 is just a couple of miles away. We would definitely stay again.

Father/ Daughter vacation

Cozy Cabin was perfect for us. The host are very hospitable and allowed us to interact with their animals. Heather gave my daughter some great advice on her future with livestock. We're definitely coming back here to stay. If you think you're going to be inside for a few hours during your stay. I suggest you bring a firestick or Roku. The sun drained us so we were inside early. The local channels didn't have what we wanted. But luckily i had my laptop, so we were able to watch Netflix on it. Other than that everything was absolutely perfect. We dreaded 11:30 today because we had to leave.

A Slice of Heaven

This cozy cabin is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated in a private corner of the property. The hosts were very clear with check in instructions and conscientious. The property is very peaceful and serene yet very conveniently located for San Marcos. I enjoyed relaxing over a glass of wine watching the gorgeous sunset while my daughter enjoyed the bunnies and watching the horses. This cabin is a great getaway and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Lovely property!

The cabin exceeded our expectations. Everything was fresh, meticulously clean, and very inviting. The hosts have been very thoughtful in their choices and have provided many little extras to make guests feel comfortable and welcomed. We loved the peaceful, rural location while enjoying super easy access to San Marcos. We are keeping this property on our short list for future visits!

Comfy Stay at The Cozy Cabin

The cabin was just what my husband and I needed for a relaxing weekend trip. It was immaculately clean and was comfortable without feeling cramped. The farm atmosphere was quiet and peaceful but you are only a 10 minute drive from stores and restaurants which was very convenient. Josh was very responsive and attentive. I would definitely stay here again!

Very cosy cabin between farm animals

I stayed only for two nights at this accomodation but it was worth making the trip. The cabine is very nice, clean and very cosy. You wake up and you see the farm animals grazing outside. The neighborhood is calm. I was there in early spring and then the environment is not very attractive but I guess summer will be different. The owners are very friendly and you have the opportunity to learn horseriding if you wish. Mind you: there is no WiFi so you need to use 5G. If this is not possible: there's a nice café in San Marcos (blue dahlia) where you can use WiFi. San Marcos is a nice little town.

Quiet place to recharge

Don’t hesitate. This place is perfect. The owners thought of everything. We stayed the weekend for my daughters gymnastics competition. It was nice to have a comfy and quiet place to go to. The property is quiet and relaxing. You can sit outside and watch the cows and horses while you drink your morning coffee. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in San Marcos.

Modern cabin with a throwback feel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

lateee review... This was a wonderful valentines weekend ❤️, the surrounding area was very peaceful, the scenery was a throwback to the old days in the country. The cabin itself is amazing, it has a very modern interior with all the amenities you usually don't find at hotels. We caught the Super Bowl on the flat screen tv, the ac was cold and nice ❄️. The animals on the property were awesome, the horses, the cats, the ducks, the rabbit, even the gorgeous goat. All on the wonderful 5 acres of property. Overall we would recommend this spot to anyone looking for something really nice, peaceful and different from the traditional getaway. 5 out of 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cozy Cabin is a Wonderful Place to Stay

The cabin is so charming with everything you need. The farm animals are delightful, especially Gloria the goat. Loved looking out to horses and cows in the surrounding pastures. The ducks on the pond swim up to greet you. It’s a wonderful oasis in the hustle and bustle of fast growing San Marcos. The host were very responsive to any inquiries. We will definitely stay again when visiting relatives in the area and highly recommend this vrbo.
