Azul is a beautiful, bright and tranquil, oceanfront property, located in Playa el Pimental, 25 minutes away from Comalapa Airport, 1 hour from San Salvador and 45 min from Sunset Park. The house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, open concept kitchen/ living room with a luxurious eating island, and air condition throughout the entire house. You can relax in the shaded terraza overlooking and enjoying the ocean breeze, eat al fresco in the outdoor gazebo or simply enjoy the tropical bliss in a hammock.
Azul Beach House is decorated with locally handcrafted junco and jute style pieces, cedar and laurel wood furniture and adorned with Salvadorean art.
An open concept living room/eat in kitchen leads to the shaded terraza where you can enjoy our complementary salvadorean coffee, overlooking the ocean.
An oceanfront king size bedroom with custom full size bunk bed comfortably accommodating a family of 4.
2 additional bedrooms that share a full bathroom easily sleeps 3 guests each. Each bedroom has 1 full size bunk bed and a full size bed.
The outdoor charcoal or wood burning BBQ allows the Chef in you to prepare your favorite dishes, including fresh caught seafood from our friendly local fishermen.

Access to the entire house excluding the storage that is locked.
The entire outdoor area is open to guests except the housekeeper’s house that is located by the main gate (entrance).
The housekeeper lives permanently in the property in order to maintain and secure throughout the year.
Host will be available throughout the stay via Airbnb message, or in site housekeeper/ family who will be in the property (in a separate unit by the main gate) to clean pool, water the grass, close the beach gate at night and help our guest if they need.
The schedule for outdoor cleaning and pool maintenance is from 4:45 am to 6:30am in order to respect our guests privacy while they enjoy outdoors during the day.
After noon time housekeeper will turn off pump filter, right after the filtration hours are completed.
Pool lights are turned off at 10:00pm by housekeeper. However the whole area is illuminated with solar lights all night
Safe and quiet neighborhood. Very private beach, There is a food court plaza (Malecón) 2 minutes by car or 10 min walking. Easy and quick access from and to the Airport, which is a plus for travelers. Supermarket 15 away in San Luis Talpa. Farmers trucks passing in front of the house daily.

Another important detail to consider before your arrival is to stop at the super market to get your food supplies, as there are limited options in the neighborhood specially if you don’t have a car.
The nearest super market is Super Talpa, in San Luis Talpa (15 min away from Azul) open 7am - close 7pm.
The next option is Super Selectos Santo Tomás, if you are coming from San Salvador or from the Airport. Located 25 min away from the Airport, 40 min away from Azul. Open 8am - close 9pm.
If you plan to eat at restaurants, keep in mind, almost all options require to drive, from 2 to 9 minutes.
There’s are also 3-4 local places that deliver food to the house. You can request their service hours with us. Printed menus or contact information are placed in kitchen.
Some of our guests request breakfast service the day after their arrival to settle and then do their food shopping.
It’s important to mention, we have a sandy beach with NO rocks, however waves and currents can be strong, you have to be cautious to swim, meanwhile you can enjoy relaxing walks, watch sunsets/ sunrises, bone fires. We recommend to swim during low tides where you can also enjoy collecting shells.
Lastly, our property is in a beautiful natural area where local utility providers occasionally implement planned or unplanned power outages, often during severe weather events (e.g., high winds, storms) or for maintenance. These events are entirely outside of our control and are not grounds for a refund. We recommend guests keep an eye on local weather reports and the power company's website DEL SUR for updates. We provide lamps, emergency lamps for indoors and most of our outside light are solar operated.
