A few important things to know before you book:

⚡ Power Management
Due to Puerto Rico`s energy situation since Hurricane María, power outages are common. The building has a backup generator system so you`re never in the dark, but its capacity depends on responsible use. During an outage, please AVOID:
• Air conditioning
• Microwave and hair dryer
• Washer and dryer
• Phone and laptop chargers

💧 Water Supply
Water service interruptions are rare, but the building is prepared with on-site backup water tanks. During an external service interruption:
• Minimum use — reduce water consumption to essentials only
• Suspend washing machine use during the outage

🌪️ Hurricane & Storm Policy
We want your stay to be safe, but we cannot control nature.
• No refunds for weather-related causes
• We offer the option to reschedule in case of a tropical system, subject to calendar availability

• Check-in 4:00 PM, check-out 11:00 AM (local time)
• Minimum age for check-in: 21
• No parties or events
• No smoking inside the unit
• Quiet hours from 10:00 PM — please respect our full-time neighbors

🐾 Pets
Pet-friendly with a 25 USD fee per stay (clean-up & extra processing). Please mention your pet in advance.

🚗 Parking & Logistics
• No on-site parking. Paid parking garage off premises at Paseo Caribe (~5 min away). There is no free parking on premises.
• Valid ID required at reception for all guests during check-in
ID OR PASSPORT IS REQUIRED FOR THE CHECK-IN PROCESS. Check-in time is at 4:00 pm Check-out time is at 11:00 am NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated. Quiet hours are from 9 pm to 9 am, no parties or noisy activities during these hours The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights. All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first. Maximum occupancy of 4 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors. Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property. Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease, or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged. Do not hang towels from the windows. A $100 fine may be applied if you break this rule.
If house rules are not followed and there is excessive garbage in the studio an extra charge could be charged (up to 100% of the cleaning fee).
Extra cleaning could be charged if the AC is left off as we would need to clean the mold due to moisture on the wall and ceiling.
Subletting is not allowed.
