A Few Things to Know Before Booking

Hot water: One shower has a conventional hot-water supply. The second relies on solar heating from sun-warmed pipes, so water temperature varies depending on the weather and available sunshine.

Location and road noise: The property is near the road serving Rio Mar Resort and the surrounding condominiums. Some traffic noise may be audible.

Tropical nighttime sounds: Our home is near the foothills of El Yunque, where coquí frogs, lizards, and Puerto Rican owls are part of the natural environment. Nighttime sounds can be noticeable. Sound machines are provided in both bedrooms, and running the air conditioning or a fan may help light sleepers rest more comfortably.

Separate living spaces: The owners live downstairs with their dogs. The upstairs apartment has its own separate entrance and living space.
