The neighborhood is easy to access, very safe and quiet. Super close to groceries, Quioscos, El Yunque, & just minutes from many great beaches.The host is incredibly attentive. We didn't need much from him, but he was always quick to respond and he was very helpful with all of our needs.The house itself was beyond a dream. Pictures don't do it justice. So much beautiful space to enjoy. BBALL court was a lovely bonus.Kitchen fully stocked w/cooking equipment. Very modern interior. Beds were comfy-Master is huge.

This was a fantastic property to relax on the island, soak up the sun and enjoy our Spring Break! Each bedroom and main room has air and kept the house cool, laundry kept up with pool and shower towels which are provided too. Fabulous patio with electric grill was utilized while swimming in the wonderful pool and basketball court. Host, property manager, neighbors and pool maintenance company were all fabulous as well. Attentive when needed and always answered if there was a question. Visitting the island was wonderful and the property made it even better. Very close to many stores, restaurants, beaches and attractions. Highly recommend!!

The place is beautiful. The amenities were excellent. There was no hot water for the first two days because a switch in the laundry room was not turned on prior to our arrival. We could have used hand and face towels in all of the bathrooms. These are easily fixed with a pre-arrival checklist.

Family Bad Bunny Trip. The house is as described. It doesn’t disappoint. The basketball court was a plus & yes it’s in the backyard. A private pool and huge backyard perfect for entertaining everyone. All the adults had their own comfortable rooms with ac. It is close to activities, shopping, restaurants, and quick drive to San Juan. Would stay again

There were 10 of us who stayed for 10 days. Wonderful location. Close to restaurants, stores, El Yunque, and a short 30-35 min drive to the city. The house was beautiful inside, safe neighborhood, 2 gates to get in, etc.

Wonderful Stay

This place was wonderful with the property located in a gated community. The property had such character, the host thought of everything possible to have a delightful stay! It was hard taking the kids away from the pool and basketball court located in the backyard. The check-in instructions were great, the property is in a good location and the communication was great with a quick turn around for answers. The only thing I would suggest is touch up paint and sanding some of the walls to remove the little eye sores because this place was like a little gift in its own and touching up those few suggestions would be the beautiful bow to add the finishing touch on the gift! The eye sores would not stop me from visiting again but it would be nice to see it more polished because it is such a beautiful property. I also kept in mind the island has been victim to many storms and I know it is a process so I didn't take away from my review I just wanted to suggest. We were a group of 3 adults and 4 children and there was more than enough space! The host truly knew how to situate the rooms in the house to take advantage of the space. This was a wonderful visit and thanks for the great family time and memories! See you soon!

Beautiful Property

The property was perfect for our group. We had 3 couples and the space was just what we hoped for. Great location in gated community. Very safe and quiet. The pool and yard was also a great to enjoy.

Wonderful villa for our family vacation

This villa provided a peaceful location for our family to relax after day trips to Old San Juan, Luquillo beach, and El Yunque National Forest. There were nearby bars and dining options, coffee shops, and grocery store. The rooms were clean and spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped. The balcony and upper patio area provided a view of the ocean. The pool was wonderful and the basketball court was unexpected. The outdoor lawn areas was expansive - we wished we had packed our kubb game.

Disappointed

In a short summary, this property is beautiful but unfortunate. It’s rundown and has a lot of water damage within the house and it seems the owner is not keeping it up. When it rain water will come through the windows. At the end, we have some issues with bedbugs which are we dealing with now. When I bought it to the owners attention about the leaks, all he said was yeah we record the windows. It’s so sad because the property is beautiful, but we paid a good amount of money to stay here so please disregard this property when you’re renting in luquillo.

Mom's 70th in an awesome place

We had a wonderful time - stayed there in early September. Absolutely gorgeous property - very close to everything. Pool was clean and fun. Beach was so close as well. Felt completely safe (gated community) and had a wonderful experience! Would definitely recommend and revisit next time I'm in PR. Thanks :-)

Need improvement

The house is nice and spacious but needs a little work. The paint for some walls are peeling off ( looks like mold) and the pool wasn’t clean. Even though we enjoyed our stay and had a great time in family. I will definitely come back.

Beautiful Place

The House was in a great location close to the kiosk, beach and rainforest. Beautiful view and very comfortable. Only thing to be aware of is some of the locals make it a point to let us know we weren't welcome so dining out chose wisely.

Beautiful property

We loved this property, especially the back yard!! Beautiful and huge with activities to keep everyone in our group happy. We didn’t spend much time inside but it was clean and spacious and worked well for us. Somethings are a little rundown but only cosmetically. We also loved the location. It was easy to get to restaurants and grocery stores, the beach and the airport. Would highly recommend to a group who loves spending time outdoors!!

Absolutely incredible rental property

Juan, first things, first. We had a great time at your Luquillo property. We usually take our family vacations at the beach. This was the first time we have taken our annual PR family vacation off-beach. We felt totally safe inside a dual gated community. We were very impressed with the owner’s response to a minor maintenance issue, he had it taken care of immediately. The house was fully equipped with everything we could have needed and more. When we weren’t exploring the countryside, we lounged by the beautiful pool or just enjoyed the quietness of the terraces. Our totally enjoyable, week long experience, was mostly due to the location and all the facilities/amenities available at your Pitahaya property. The location was perfect. It gave us access to numerous interesting places to visit/explore. We went to 3 different beaches, El Yunque Rainforest, Ziplining and Hacienda Chocolat where we toured an “Eco” cacao farm. We would not hesitate to recommend this rental property to everyone we know!! Thanks Juan for your outstanding support and help!!

Birthday trip well spent

We rented this house to celebrate my mothers 65th birthday. There were 5 women, 3 over 50. Overall the house was lovely. It is in a great little gated community. Easy to find via google maps. Very close to stores, the beach, the kiosks and other restaurants. For our needs we may have changed some things a bit. There are 3 TVs but the ones in common areas aren’t really set up for gathering. The water pressure in the showers was fairly nonexistent but the water got hot so that’s a plus. The tile floors could have used a few rugs as they are cold. The room with the bunk beds could use bit of a rethink. As an adult I couldn’t sit up on the bottom bunk. I’m 5’5 but still too tall. I think even if it were two twins but seperate it would have been more comfortable HOWEVER the master bedroom is massive and the balcony off it is beautiful. The covered dining outside is also lovely. The pool though small is GREAT to have. We spent a lot of time sun bathing and taking quick dips in the pool. Could use an extra lounger and we bought a new pool floaty and left it for the next guests. I would absolutely happily stay at this home again. It was easy communicating with the owner. It was an easy drive from the airport. The community was quiet except for the birds and the frogs. Iguanas will come hang out by the pool so don’t freak out. Overall it was a great time and price for value was spot on.
