Just north of San Juan del Sur, playa Maderas is the best surf spot in the area.
With unobstructed breathtaking view of the ocean and offering lots of privacy, this house is the perfect vacation destination.

Locateda out 15 minutes north of San Juan del Sur. Only a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk to Playa Maderas.

AC units in every room, full kitchen, pool located right next to the house, accessible parking.

Powerful solar system makes the house immune to power outages, and a new water filtration system.

Very nice experience overall, not suitable for seniors as it is very steep (lots of stairs) Gets really windy at night The kitchen was great however could have a better coffee machine, specially being in Nicaragua where the coffee is amazing. The pool was not ready for us before hand so we only enjoyed it 2 days out of 2. The keepers were excellent, very helpful. Having solar back up power was great the power went out once in the neighborhood and we were the only ones with power so that was pleasant. Price was reasonable for the time of the year.

This was an interesting place to stay up in the mountains but wasn’t as clean as we were expecting. Also the coffee maker can use a real good cleaning as it took forever to brew a pot of coffee. The host was great at responding to questions so we appreciated that.

Best view of 5 bahiasVicente the guy was around the property , very kind, helping us every time we were in n out of house with groceries, luggage, or anything we need around there . restaurants around area with fresh n tasty sea food. Machete restaurant Super close at the property with a diferent Good food, Mayagual beach we got the best piña colada

Property needs a vehicle with higher clearance even in dry season. Location proximity to Maderas can’t be beat, house is nice and well equipped.

Beautiful Beach Stay

This property was just as listed, If you are looking for an incredible view of playa maderas and playa Marsella, I would recommend this place, it was clean, comfortable and beautiful. The beaches are very close by, with bars and Restaurants. I will say to get to the place was a bit hard, you will need a truck or 4x4 vehicle. it was super easy to communicate with Marius, he was very helpful. Overall I would recommend this place.

Best view of Playa Maderas

This property has a stunning view of the surf bay down below! The house was well equipped and the pool was private during our stay. The host was very attentive and helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend a 4x4 to get to the property, even when it’s dry, as we had an SUV without 4x4 and the steep uphills to the property were incredibly challenging (but doable with speed) for us. The drive is worth the view though—my family would be more than happy to stay here again!

Great Location with amazing host

Marius is a great host! We booked his place the day before we were supposed to arrive in SJDS, and didn't take the measures necessary (given how bad the weather was that day) between the rental and the main town (San Juan del Sur), so we had to leave early. Marius was extremely gracious to refund us the last night we booked, we didn't even ask or expected him to do so. We would definitely recommend this rental and host to anyone that wants to stay near Maderas. Just make sure to have a 4x4 if you're going between May and Nov.
