Overall, the room served it's purpose. The bed was clean but the floor felt like it had not been swept.The bathroom toilet was also dirty. The bath towels were old and had a musty smell. The shower is also really small, but that seems to be the norm with rentals that are basically just a room. The location was good and if it weren't for the lack of cleanliness and the smelly towels, I would rate higher.

Pros: It was tiny and quaint, nice location. Cons: mildew scent in restroom was bad. Last night there was woken up in the middle of night with a truck that parked right outside the window, moving equipment which was extremely loud and inconsiderate and kept me up. Would not stay here again.

Location was great and the communication with our host was great. There is a washer and dryer next to the unit, but no detergent, we had to go out of our way to purchase it. Space was well kept, lovely and cozy. Parking is limited, we have a small Hyundai Sonata and had to go over the curb to park on the far right of the property. Which is a bit of an inconvenience, considering our small car and neighbors’ large Suburban. Other than that, checking in and out went by smoothly; the only downside is the parking situation, but not big of an issue. We will definitely recommend this space to others!

3-day booking

We booked the room based on the high reviews. We have stayed at 10’s, and this is not one. It could be fine if you just need a convenient place to sleep. The bed was fairly comfortable, but the room is tight and the shower is so small. We only stayed 2 of the 3 nights because we could hear walking/talking above us, and the old refrigerator ran all night.

BED BUGS!!! Do not stay here! We woke up with bedbugs all over my arm and bed. There was hair all over the floor in the bathroom. This was beyond the worst place we have ever stayed at! It should be condemed. I have bites all over my hand and arm.To make it worse, the owner said it wasn't his place and denied it. We are still waiting to get a full refund. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Nice place in a quiet area.

It was great staying here! The studio itself was super clean and nice, both the only downside was that the shower is quite small. As a small 5’3 female, I was still bumping into the wall trying to wash my hair. But it was still worth it and the price is great!

Will stay again for sure!

This was a great little place to stay. Had everything we needed and clean. Enjoyed this location as it was away from the hustle bustle of the city and near some of our favorite, local spots to eat. Communication with the property owner was great, got our check-in information a few days before our stay with very clear instructions (was a bit confused looking at it ahead of time but made perfect since once we arrived). We ended up not bringing our pup with us and they were very understanding and even refunded our pet fee. We'll definitely stay again next time we're up for a visit.

Close to SF city and beach cities in the south, not all pictures updated

Location is good in a way that its close to SF and also cities in the south like Half Moon Bay. Communication with owner is efficient and reaction quick. Check-in process and information is sufficient. However, some of the pictures online do not reflect the current furniture and look of the space. For us it was ok but not worth the price comparing to other stays we had and the fact that also a hotel room would not be much more expensive. For just 1-2 nights I would say its fine, but not longer. Looking at the former ratings I expected something better .

Es hat alles gepasst, die Wohnung war sauber, sogar der Kühlschrank war mit einem Startpaket (Äpfel, Bagels und Kekse) gefüllt. Von der unmittelbaren Umgebung haben wir nicht viel gesehen. Man muss wissen: in Daly City ist es auch in den Sommermonaten meist kalt und sehr nebelig. Am Besten schnell eine Clipper-Card besorgen und mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nach SF fahren. Bushaltestelle vor dem Haus.

Quiet vacation spot

My husband and I stayed here on our belated honeymoon. Access to the unit was fairly straightforward, and we loved the location. For being right next to a bus stop, it was still pretty quiet, not a lot of street noise. The owner was very responsive to messages. My only two minor issues were that the sponge we assumed was for dishes was not clean (we just used a wash cloth instead) and that someone upstairs was frequently loud/dropping things and yelling across the house until nearly 1am. We would definitely stay here again. It would be helpful to have a recycle bin in the unit.
