Cozy place
Could have more cleaning supplies and cooking utensils. Outside was a bit dirty. Overall is was fine. Bed seemed old and pillows weren’t comfortable.

Great location and neighborhood. Very close to everything San Diego. Far enough from the flight path to not bother you. Classic old school interior vibe and great patio.

Great Place
We love the place as the location was great to downtown and getting on the freeway. Parking was easy. The A/C was great for the two rooms and we liked the outdoor patio.

Never even got in to the unit!
The code given to us did not work. We tried messaging owner through VRBO, texting the number listed, and calling with no answer leaving us without a place to stay at 8:00pm at night. We did not hear back until the following day. All that to say we never got in and have not been given a refund. Owner agreed to give us a refund initially but has not responded since. I have now spent hours trying to get something from VRBO.

Nice little place
It was tidy & the kitchen and backyard were super nice. We were able to walk to dinner (at Sisters pizza-yum!). My son enjoyed the games at the house. It is very small but it was great for my family of 3 for one night.

Sauntering in San Diego
We were looking for a base from which to explore downtown San Diego and the surrounding districts. We found this fabulous house right next to Balboa Park close to great restaurants and brew pubs - perfect!! We walked all around Bankers Hill, Mission District, Hillcrest and Down Town. Oh and the property was a joy to stay in for both of us, spotlessly clean, bright and sunny with a lovely private little patio. Our host was very responsive and super helpful. Thank you for the snacks! We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay!
Perfect house to stay at for our first trip to San Diego. Great location and neighborhood. We felt safe and secure in the home. The property manager was very responsive to our questions and needs. Would definitely stay here again!

A perfect San Diego visit
Located in a walkable neighborhood close to Balboa park, you’ll enjoy this small home. It was immaculately clean and our host provided some snacks and beverages for us to enjoy. He was very responsive to all our requests. Yes, there are steps, and yes the single off street parking spot is tight, but dont deterr from staying. You’ll like it here.

Great for us
This was a perfect fit for myself and my two daughters. The house was clean and very well stocked. The outdoor space was the best part and we enjoyed many nights and mornings there. The neighborhood is safe and we walked to many nice dinners there.

Cozy and charming with a convenient location
We stayed three nights here with our teenage daughter and we were very comfortable. The location was convenient, the house was well stocked with everything we needed. There was plenty of on street parking (the driveway is quite narrow so we chose to park on the street). The neighborhood is adorable, we walked to several restaurants and there is also a cute little market just a couple blocks away with a deli. We enjoyed the Little Italy farmer's market on Saturday and hung out in downtown Hillcrest and enjoyed Balboa park

The location was wonderful it was right in the heart of everything. We were able to walk to location restaurant and Balboa Park. The owner was available to answer questions and make us feel welcomed. Definitely coming back..

Great Location
Robert’s house is very clean, beautifully decorated and set up perfectly. Living room, well appointed kitchen and private, outdoor patio downstairs with two bedrooms and a bath upstairs. Its location couldn’t be better on a bus route with a short ride to downtown. Also, a short walking distance to both Hillcrest and Balboa Park. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again.

Great cozy cottage!
I had a wonderful stay at this lovely property. It was well-maintained, clean, and quiet. The host was very accessible, and even left a yoga mat at the property so that I could practice yoga durning my visit to San Diego for work. The level of hospitality was wonderful. Also, the dedicated parking spot made a huge difference when selecting this property. Thanks for being such a great host. I look forward to coming back!
