This was our 2nd time after a very memorable stay a couple of years ago and we were not disappointed. The most wonderful experience in beautiful grounds, excellent breakfast and Stephanie.was a great host. The room was very well appointed - highly recommended for a few days away from it all while being pampered.

The English gardens around the house are amazing, with streams, a pond, and even a 1 mile walking trail. There was a separate building with gym equipment, a pool table, fussball, and board games. There was also a pool and hot tub outdoors. There was a mini kitchen on the third floor and a lounge/TV room on the first. Many homemade jams for breakfast, as well as warm bread, and delicious fresh from the oven treats.

a beautiful saltspring getaway
the inn was above & beyond our expectations. room was spacious, comfortable with an AMAZING BED & BATHTUB & BALCONY. you could smell the garden (fresh flowers) from the room & balcony. truly a magical place. hot tub & pool where a FANTASTIC bonus. the coffee & breakfast was wonderful.

A family run inn hosted by a truly gracious, laid back couple. Suites are generous. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Amenities include a hot tub, heated pool. gym, and games room, guest lounge, and guest kitchenette. The hotel is set amongst beautiful, well-maintained gardens and backs onto a series of hiking trails. A romantic, peaceful stay. Highly recommend.

The main house is situated in a beautiful park like setting. The hosts maintain the immaculate gardens and it’s spectacular. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit after exploring the gardens. The room itself is spotless. Well kept and maintained with comfortable bed and linen for a restful slumber. Guest kitchen provides complimentary beverages. And there is a well appointed games room and gym in a separate building. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend and will return again.

Perfect Is only one of many words to describe this Inn. Relaxing, wonderful, beautiful are a few more. This was our first time here but it won’t be our last. Stephanie and Les ensure nothing is missed - delicious breakfast - pool - hot tub - stunning gardens - water features - everything is beyond five star!

The Wetherly Inn is located on a beautiful property with lovely gardens, trails, hot tub, and other amenities a short drive from many interesting things to do on Salt Spring. The room we stayed in was clean, bright, and comfortable. The host was friendly and whipped up a delicious breakfast for us each morning, and the self-serve kitchen amenities were appreciated.

The grounds were beautiful and relaxing. It’s a wonderful place to kick back and relax. The hosts accommodated my recent inability to climb stairs by placing us in the cottage, it was perfect. The breakfast is prepared by a very accomplished cook, the owner Stephanie. I recommend it highly and hope I can return some day to take full advantage of the heated pool and hot tub

This was a spectacular property! The grounds were lavish and featured gorgeous gardens, meandering streams over rock waterfalls, a heated pool and hiking trails. The room was very high end with top of the line furnishings and thoughtfully curated amenities. The owners, Stephanie and Les couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Each morning we had a choice of a hot breakfast or continental breakfast with organic and gluten free selections. The owners also arranged for a lovely spa treatment (on site) that we are still raving about. The customer service was truly outstanding, a 10 out of 10 experience. The Wetherly Inn is rustic luxury with a cool island vibe.

This is an amazing B&B in a quiet and tranquil part of Salt Spring Island. Everything was perfect from the room, the grounds, the pool and hot tub, the delicious breakfast, and the kind hospitality. We especially liked the morning wake up tray with tea or coffee and a little treat delivered right to your room. What a terrific way to start the day. The breakfast was an array of delicious homemade bread, jam, granola, fruit salad and a special dish (peach cobbler one day!) Everything felt private and luxurious. Definitely recommended. We will be back for sure!

Many thanks for your honest review. We appreciate when travellers are able to share concerns with us, so that we may respond, and improve. And as such, there are a few comments I would like to make to address your concerns: Unfortunately cell service is erratic on the entire island, not just here on our property. Although there is no TV in the guest rooms, there is a TV in our guest lounge, which you may not have used. We appreciated your comment to us while you were here of the safety rail in the shower issue, and we have decided to have them installed. As for the elevator, we are a small boutique inn of only 4 rooms and as such, most places of our size do not have elevators. Our breakfast includes a substantial continental buffet with multiple options, as well as an a la carte menu available of cooked items which you did not choose to have. As for our pricing, I do regret that you considered us too expensive, however our most common feedback is that we are good value for money. Stephanie Roberts, Manager

Our October Stay 2020
As we normally around this time travel Europe, we did BC, and decided on Vancouver island and saltspring island. Our stay at this characterful place was nothing but wonderful. Breathing taking surroundings, comfortable room, with a good bed, great breakfasts done by our host, Stephanie, we had some nice conversations with her as well... I have to write you about the pool, It was the most heated pool I have ever swam in and I loved it! Even my husband, he rather does not like to get wet, enjoyed it. There is a hot tub we used as well. We did a hike on the property, had wine on our balcony. In the top area of the house there is a self contained kitchen for guests to use, fridge, microwave, glassware, plates, coffee and tea, even some goodies etc. They have truly thought about the “needs” of people. There is a family room, you can chill out in with a television. They even have a work out room on the property. We can not say enough how enjoyable our stay was of 3 days. Would we go back? Absolutely!

Magnificent! We absolutely adored our stay at the Wetherly Inn. A family owns the inn and are incredibly kind and extremely helpful. I don’t know why you would stay anywhere else. The grounds and rooms were spectacular and the photos do not do the place justice. It is even more incredible in person. A short drive from town and close to wineries and breweries. Best of all, hiking trails on the property and you can walk to the trailhead of Mt. Maxwell. A perfect location for a relaxing vacation.
