フロントの接客良かったです。

フロントの方の対応が良かったです。駅に行くのにタクシーをお願いしましたが、丁寧な対応をして頂きました。

落ち着いた場所で危険もなくとても安心できました。フロントの方もとても親切で困ったことがあればすぐに尋ねることができるような方々でした。周辺に住む友人もここは、セーラムの中では一番良いホテルだと言っていました。

セーラムに来たらここでしょ！

老舗のホテルといった感じで、ロビーも広く装飾も素敵でした。日本人のスタッフがいて心強くとても親切でよかったです。私の部屋は二階でしたが、残念な事に窓の外に目貼りがしてありほんお上だけ空が見えるだけでした。とても閉鎖感があり他の全ていい点を台無しにしてしまうほどでした。あと全身を映す姿鏡があった方がよりいいと思います。

The hotel looks nice and the people were friendly. The walls are thin and we got to listen to our neighbors yelling profanities at each other until after 1am. On top of that, there were people cruising and racing cars and motorcycle until after 2am. Because of this, we overslept and missed the breakfast service. No compensation was offered. Not likely to go back.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience, the review platform doesn't allow me to see a last name or room number. Not that we have regular experience with arguments taking place in rooms, our team would address issues confidentially and assertively to ensure your animosity is protected. I believe any hotel would want to intercede on the guests behalf. Regarding traffic noise, we are a downtown property, the street along the side is a State Highway, we have noise cancelling units on each nightstand to help neutralize outside influences.

The staff was tremendous. The only challenge were the elevators. Limited access and very very slow.

Thank you for staying, we did get our Elevator company here to repair the issue. I can only presume a guest tried to restrict the door from closing and caused it the come off the tracks.

We went for a concert and The Grand was in the perfect location. It was also very handy that the hotel had parking.

Importantly, the rooms are very large, clean, and comfortable. The beds are also of the ‘sleep all night’ variety. There are several restaurants and lounges near by, providing quite a bit of variety, should you decide to venture out. The convenient underground parking was a bonus. However, best of all was the friendly front desk service.

Lobby and rooms were really nice. Had an older feeling to it but intentionally and not in a dated kind of way. Free breakfast was amazing every morning with a rotating menu so it wasn't all the same. The restaurant was very classy and had delicious food. Although pricey it was worth it for one night.

Sad in Salem

Hotel was clean front desk friendly. Shower water luke warm bed was hard and had a large lump in the middle. Hot tub could have been a little warmer and the same pair of florescent ear plugs were stuck to the bottom both days of my stay. Breakfast was good especially for the price.

Thank you for the comments and suggestions. I will have maintenance check the bed/box spring for any deficiencies. Serta is a very respected brand in the hospitality industry for quality and workmanship. A good night sleep is pretty much what it is all about in our business.I'm sorry housekeeping didn't notice the ear plugs, on day 2 they may have presumed they were intentionally there...

Overnight Stay

This was an overnight stay in Salem because we had a business appointment and decided to see a little of the city. The entire staff at the Grand Hotel were superb. Russell checked us in and offered a great lunch recommendation. The hotel itself was beautiful and very well maintained. Very comfortable beds. The central location to downtown allowed us to park the car and walk everywhere. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. I’d highly recommend the King suite style room. I really liked not walking into the bedroom when entering the room.

We had an event at the convention center so the hotel was very convenient. We didn’t even have to walk outside to get to our event.

Did not like Fire alarm going off in at about 11:00pm It could not be shut off. Ruined stay. this happened on the 14th of Jan. 2024.

Cheryl,We are sorry for the inconvenience the alarm caused. This specific situation had not occurred prior, once we were able to get phone support from a technician, we were able to silence the alarms while still maintaining secure protocols until they could permanently fix the system. It was not horseplay; we trust that you understand. As crazy loud as the alarms are, if it had been more serious, we need everyone to be notified and safe.

The hotel was amazing, gave me a late check-out for free, great breakfast, wonderful staff, Pool, hot tub and workout room was great. Parking was easy and nice. The only problem was the amount of Homelass walking around the area, asking for change and sleeping on the sidewalks just a block away. Would recommend to stay as long as you drive where you are going don't walk.

Super comfortable, clean, staff was excellent & we felt very safe walking to our event & back. There is a bit of street noise but it stopped early in the evening so it didn't keep us awake.

Great place. Everything you need for a lovely stay in the heart of the city. Great food, drink, and entertainment options, all walking distance. Better than average breakfast, comfy bed, fantastic bathroom/shower/towels. Wonderful!

The Grand is exactly what it is, namely Grand. What a great location near the beautiful Willamette River and all the river side parks. The downtown area is very nice with lots of shops and dining areas. The Capital Campus and greatest university in the country (I'm an alumni) is a short walk away.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We requested a late checkout and which was not a problem with no added cost. The room was beautiful and cozy, and I loved having extra seating in the room. We dined ate restaurant and it was very upscale; both the atmosphere and the food!
