Great stay

Our family had a great stay during our fishing trip. The house was clean and welcoming with nice, comfortable furnishings and decor, well stocked with kitchen utensils, toiletries and even snacks, and just blocks away from restaurants, coffee shops and more in Salem. Can't wait to stay again!

Gem in a small town

I had planned a fishing trip to south central Missouri and Salem is a central location for several Blue Ribbon fishing streams.The home was neat and clean and comfortable. I would rent again when I return to the area.

The house was perfect for an overnight with our dog while traveling. The house is so cute and very clean and has all of the essentials plus lots of extras if you forget anything. It has a fenced in back yard and even some dog mats and bowls. We loved our stay!

Perfect weekend getaway for float trip

We loved the space, very clean and comfortable beds! Six of us came down for a float trip from Cedar Grove to Akers Ferry and this was the perfect spot for non-campers. Everything was super clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware so we were easily able to make our own meals. Would definitely return!

Family Holiday Trip

Such a cute place! They have everything you can think of and many things you might have forgotten. The house is just as described, and very comfortable. The hosts are terrific. We will recommend to any of the extended family that wants to visit Salem. It was perfect for us, and thoughtfully stocked with snacks and water which we really appreciated since everything was closed Thanksgiving day.

A bright gem!

The house is set up very nicely with lots of attention to what makes a place comfortable and relaxing. It is bright and inviting and clean. The beds were comfortable and the bedroom decor was soothing and inviting. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully equipped with plenty of utensils/plates/gadgets/etc and the bathrooms had plenty of quality towels (hand and bath size) and no shortage of quality paper products and bath/kitchen/laundry accessories. Great stay and loved the fact that we could take our dog! Would absolutely book again.

Last minute stay for a family emergency

Due to a family emergency we quickly had to travel and accommodate 6 people. I can't praise this location enough. The owner was kind, professional, and very helpful with any issues, including helping with booking. The house is perfect for a large family visiting, every room was extremy clean, the beds were comfortable, the linens were all fresh and smelled great. If I ever want to go back to this area I'll definitely see if this is available first.

The house is so cute, and immaculate. The kitchen is roomy and the host provides some essentials. The beds are very comfortable and the a/c works great. The location is close enough for day trips to the Current and Jacks Fork rivers for floating or swimming. The host is quick to respond. Love the checkout process. We will be back.

Sarah was extremely helpful and flexible! As we were snowed out for our original weekend and she allowed us to reschedule due to weather. The place was beautiful, tasteful, immaculate! Sweet Spot!

Five of us traveled to Salem from St. louis surrounding areas to celebrate a heavenly birthday and cancer surgery success with a float trip. We typically stay in hotels outside of Salem but opted for this rental instead and we were not disappointed. This sweet little spot was unexpectedly well stocked, super clean, the beds were so comfy and it truly felt like being at home. The backyard was a bonus for our fur babies. Sarah was quick to respond to my inquiry before booking and was beyond accommodating. Don't hesitate to book, you will love it too!
