"What a such a wonderful week at La Grange de Chatelus! We were three families (six adults, eight children) and we stayed for a week during August. The house is stunning, huge rooms, comfortable beds, amazing ensuites to all the bedrooms, multiple washing machines, tumble dryers and even two dishwashers. "I had a lovely week, away from it all, in Haute Correze. I love the area though I wasn't familiar with Ussel and its surroundings but found loads of new places to see and things to do. The accomodation was very spacious (I was alone), the dining room, kitchen and bathroom all well- equipped. I was there during a heatwave and the terrace was sometimes just too hot to sit out on, but still an asset to the property."

Un seul bruleur fonctionne sur la plaque de cuisson et si vous tentez d'allumer le four l'installation électrique disjoncte. il y a bien 2 convecteurs électriques mais ceci sont coupé par le propriétaire au tableau électrique qui n'est pas accessible au locataire. etc... Attention propriétaire plus que roublard."

"Beautiful property and location. House, pool, lake, bikes, boat all made for a perfect holiday. Communication with owners was very good and the pool was kept clean by Claude who visited often to check everything was OK. Wish we could have stayed for longer, would definitely return again with more of the family."

"The house has been renovated nicely and has most things that you need, except wifi! There is a reasonable telephone signal but we quickly used up our data roaming allowance as we were there to search for a property. There is a restaurant in the next village and a supermarket in Felletin which also hosts a country market on Friday mornings. It is lovely being in the middle of the Millevaches Plateau but that does mean it takes a long time to get anywhere. The host was very kind and helpful...

Wonderful stay, beautiful house
"What a such a wonderful week at La Grange de Chatelus! We were three families (six adults, eight children) and we stayed for a week during August. The house is stunning, huge rooms, comfortable beds, amazing ensuites to all the bedrooms, multiple washing machines, tumble dryers and even two dishwashers. The kids loved the swimming pool, cinema room and pool table. Richard and Sisca were great hosts, they quickly replied to our messages and the lady who checked us in was very helpful. We had a great afternoon by the river down the road, we hired a boat and canoes which was lots of fun! The house is quite remote with a drive to supermarkets and towns but this was perfect for us. Thanks for a brilliant stay!"
