The owners are a charming couple who are also bilingual in French and English. The property and gardens are absolutely lovely and peaceful. "

"Chambre petite et bas de plafond. Le lit est court (ne pas mesurer plus d’1,70 m) . Pas de télé, ni climatiseur, pas de sèche cheveux ni prise dans salle de bain. Promiscuité avec les autres chambres. Les hébergeurs ne sont pas trop disponibles. Par contre joli domaine bien aménagé à l’extérieur. Ne convient pas aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Pas très bon rapport qualité /prix à mon avis "

" Nice spacicous rooms. One problem was the heat. No aircon. The outside temperature was particularly hot, 39°C. The room fan helped but other areas were extremely warm. Still like this hotel and will stay again in the future."

"We were on a cycling trip. Check in was easy and the staff very helpful in locking away our bikes in a secure location. The beds were very comfortable and showers hot! Breakfast was standard continental with plenty of food available. Located a little out of town centre and surprisingly quiet. The rooms are in need of some minor maintenance but comfortable."

"A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. "This is a great B&B, really well appointed old french farmhouse. We stayed in the smaller room which had a great shower, was quiet and warm. My only small issue is that I would have preferred a bigger bed. Breakfast was great and had a lot of choices. The lady who runs the place looked after us and was very welcoming. "

"Perfect for overnight stop en route South or North. Lovely lady (owner?) Rooms recently decorated and so so so clean...bathroom spotless. Restaurant on site...was able to sit outside. Formula evening menu which is great when you don't want to spend too mush. Great nights sleep and lovely breakfast, the lady owner constantly re freshing items on breakfast buffet, tidying and wiping the surfaces. Thank you for a great stay."
