Really enjoyed our stay. The house was excellent and the addition of the swimming pool was fantastic. Communication and welcome from the owners was excellent.

Recently renovated gite in a very quiet and beautiful area

Very warm and friendly welcome from the owners, with a nice bottle of local cider and some biscuits to help us recover from the long journey. They also coped with my basic French! Information on the property and the surrounding area was clear and useful. Very close to Pontivy where there are hypermarkets, shops etc. Also next to the amazing cycle path on the river - great for walks and easy cycling. Less than an hour from the beach as well so you have the best of all worlds. Added to this is that the area is very quiet and peaceful. Property appears to have been recently renovated. Some parts looked a little unfinished e.g. bare lightbulbs in some rooms and outside but this is a fairly minor issue. Overall extremely clean with good facilities although a bigger freezer would have been good for ice and ice creams :) The electric blinds were very useful in the heatwave. Towels and bedding were supplied although extra hand towels in the bathrooms would have been useful and there were no cleaning products available for us to use to keep the house clean during our two week stay. Comfortable beds and nice spacious rooms. Living area was large and the table football on the mezzanine was a really nice touch. The inclusion of a separate office area was also quite useful if anyone wanted to rent this property for teleworking. Internet was ok for general use noting that it was a mobile connection, not wired. We would recommend this property to families or couples looking for a quiet holiday. With apologies for the English review but Vrbo will not give me enough room to also write this in French!

Un Noël dans un cadre idéal
