Lovely converted Manor House. We stayed in a themed room in the converted stables which was good but did not have air conditioning. Would benefit from a window you would feel safe opening all night as room was very hot. Beautiful long drive and grounds. Good breakfast. Short drive into Le Mans.

Un accueil excellent, très aimable, attentionné, un lieu paisible, vraiment chouette, une deco très sympa, en revanche, une literie catastrophique, et des oreillers en plume... Allergie le lendemain, mal au dos atroce, bref, dommage, car c'était le seul point négatif, mais malheureusement le plus important 😐

Séjour moyennement agréable Bâtisse très jolie et agréablement décorée Personnel d'accueil agréable Beau jardin qui en été je pense doit être fort agréable et reposant Petit déjeuner parfait dans une jolie salle Point négatif le chauffage coupé en soirée et nuit et quand il gèle dehors c est très désagréable de se faire réveiller au milieu de la nuit par le froid et le matin la chambre était froide pas agréable pour se préparer... J avais heureusement demandé un radiateur électrique voyant qu'il faisait déjà froid a 17:00 mais pas suffisant pour chauffer ma chambre TV non fonctionnelle et toute petite. Bref je reste mitigée sur le lieu. Je pense que des améliorations sont à apporter pour le confort surtout en hiver.

Le charme du passé avec le confort du présent

Une nuit des plus dépaysantes dans la chambre Safari très confortable, meublée de souvenirs authentiques de notre charmant hôte. Une literie absolument top ! L'endroit est délicieusement bucolique, le parc centenaire a un charme très agréable, l'âne et la chèvre trop mignons. Un petit-déjeuner composé de produits d'excellente qualité et en nombre pour les gourmands. Et surtout, un hôte absolument incroyable, qui vous conte l'histoire passionnante de sa demeure avec le talent d'un guide expérimenté. Bref, un moment en dehors du temps que nous recommandons chaleureusement.

Strange and unclean.

Unfortunately the rooms were not clean, the mirrors were filthy. The floor was so grubby I had to keep my shoes on. The shower was filthy. There were a lot of big black bugs in the room. The owner said they were crickets and all part of the countryside.. that’s fine I just don’t want to have to spend all night removing them from the bedrooms. There were at least 6 in our room The smell in the room was like an old school library, dusty and horrible. The bedrooms had a “theme” and to be honest was just tacky. I would have liked a coffee in the morning but because our theme was Asia I was expected to drink it from a bowl.. simple coffee cups would have been nice! The rooms were full of so much junk and clutter so it’s impossible to keep it clean. There was no reception area or bar or restaurant just bedrooms so it all felt rather odd that as soon as you walked in to the hotel your just standing there hoping the owner heard you enter and waiting for him to appear from some door.

Original style hotel set in beautiful grounds

Very comfortable stay and good breakfast. The Sahara room was tastefully decorated and well equipped. The only fault was finding the place as the sign at the top of the road indicated a different hotel, so we drove past it and had to ask a neighbour. Setting beautiful and had a lovely walk around the grounds.

TOP!

4 nuits passées dans cet établissement à titre professionnel. L'hôtel est aux portes du Mans, dans un endroit verdoyant et calme. La zone commerciale nord du Mans est à 5 min de voiture. Ma chambre à thème SAFARI est joliment décorée et m'a fait voyager plus loin que prévu! Literie très confortable et calme complet. Le patron et sa famille sont très accueillant et chaleureux. Bref un avant goût de vacances pendant un séjour pro! Je retournerai certainement la bas lors d'un prochain déplacement.
