Stunning property

Absolutely perfect property for our needs! Everything from the quality of furnishings to the spotless outside pool area. Lots to keep you entertained, such as the hot tub, sauna table tennis table , boules pitch and trampoline plus lots of other games! Age range was 3 to 68 and there was something for everyone! We stayed here for a weekend with two families and had a wonderful time. The house is spacious, well-equipped, and has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the fantastic games room, featuring a pool table and a pinball machine that kept both adults and kids entertained. The hot tub was a big hit with the children as well!Unfortunately, we couldn’t make much use of the outdoor areas due to the cold weather, but that didn’t take away from the experience. The location is also very convenient, with a lovely bakery just 5 minutes away by car and a supermarket about 7 minutes away.The hosts were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even smoother. We truly enjoyed our weekend getaway and would happily return!

This is a lovely place for a family stay. The accommodation is spacious and the property is very well equipped with a nice pool, hot tub and sauna, plus a massive garden with lots of games to play including boules and table tennis. The owners were prompt to respond to any queries or issues. The local Intermarche is only 5 mins drive away and Abbeville is 12 mins drive away. The kids enjoyed the pool as well as spotting the local wildlife, such as a red squirrel, bats, shrews and lots of pretty birds.

It was an excellent house. Wish I stayed there in the summer. Very well equipped and excellent communication with the owner. The house itself is beautiful. I loved everything. The fire place was lovely. The garden is massive and well kept. You could just there and enjoy the house and the garden without the need to go anywhere in the summer. The house is very close to some beautiful places as there is a lot to explore in the area. We would love to come back when the weather is nicer.

Great place to stay.

We had a lovely holiday at Maison de Bonheur. The facilities were excellent. Lots for children and adults alike. There was a shed full of different types of outdoor games. We particularly liked the boules. The pool was lovely and we had great weather so made full use of it. The accommodation was good too. Lovely authentic bedrooms with plenty of space. The lounge and kitchen had everything you needed. All in all everyone enjoyed both the holiday and property. The nearest supermarket we found was at Ousimont, just a short drive away. We had a very easy journey from Calais to Sant-Maxent along the toll road A16. Our host Pauline was very attentive and quick to respond to messages. Thank you Pauline.

Lovely home in a great location.

Lovely home in an easy to access location, half hour drive to coast, lots to do and see for a family of 7 adults. Need more sun loungers so everyone can have one and as four weren't enough. Be nice to have some that you can lie on you front too to get an even tan! Everything else was great.

Super week-end passé en famille dans la maison du bonheur où jeunes et moins jeunes ont trouvé des occupations. La salle de jeux est top ! Merci au propriétaire de nous avoir accueilli. Nb: Jacuzzi et sauna ne peuvent pas fonctionner en même temps l’hiver. Cependant nous recommandons l’emplacement qui est très paisible et nous y reviendrons l’été.

war dreckig nicht vernünftig vor unsere anreise. Gaus stankt nach Abfluss Wasser. Sauna und Whirlpool platz stank nach Schimmel und Feuchtigkeit und von die Wasser hat alle rote schmerzhafte flecken am Haut bekommen.

Das Haus ist geschmackvoll und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet.Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, toller großer Herd mit Backofen. Das Wohnzimmer mit dem Kamin bietet Behaglichkeit, besonders bei schlechtem Wetter. Holz ist genügend vorhanden. Pool, Sauna, Billardraum mit Kicker, Bouleplatz usw. sorgt für Kurzweiligkeit. Fahrräder können kostenlos genutzt werden. Insgesamt sehr familienfreundlich.Einkaufsmöglichkeit 6 km entfernt. Soweit alles super. Leider gibt es nur 1 Schlüssel, das ist sehr umständlich, wenn man getrennt etwas unternehmen möchte.

Een mooi huis waar je als gezin heel veel kunt doen!

Het huis is heel mooi en heeft alles wat er nodig is om een leuke vakantie te vieren. Het huis was schoon en het zwembad en game room waren top! Als tip geven we mee dat een buiten douche en airconditioning het huis nog beter kunnen maken.

Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern verlief absolut reibungslos und sehr freundlich. Das Haus verfügt über eine sehr schöne Außenanlage mit tollem Pool und vielen Freiezeitmöglichkeiten. WLAN ist auf dem gesamten Grundstück vorhanden.

Maison très confortable et vraiment très bien fournie en équipements où nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Mention speciale pour l'extérieur très bien tenu avec notamment un super terrain de pétanque et de la place pour installer la table de ping pong. Super pour un court séjour avec enfant!

Nous avons beaucoup aimé les quelques jours passés à la maison du bonheur. Il y a tout pour s’amuser en famille ou entre amis. Saint-Valéry est à une petite trentaine de minutes de route et un grand supermarché se trouve à 7 minutes de la maison. Les propriétaires étaient aussi très facilement joignables en cas de questions. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Het huis is heel goed uitgerust. Keuken met top fornuis, meer dan voldoende keukenmateriaal. De 'speelzaal' is top met een pooltafel, dartsbord, flipperkast en buiten is de petanquebaan zalig. Gewoon jammer dat de verlichting rond de petanquebaan stuk was. Het zwembad hebben we niet kunnen gebruiken, het was nog niet verwarmd. De slaapkamers waren allen ook goed, goeie bedden. Kortom een topverblijf!

Noël dans la maison du bonheur

Nous avons été enchanté dès notre arrivée en découvrant la jolie décoration mise en place spécialement pour notre reveillon de noël. Un vrai sapin, decoré avec goût. Le gîte était chaleureux et accueillant, nous avons ete touchés et séduits. Merci aux propriétaires.
