Beautiful house in stunning location

This historic house was absolutely perfect in every way for our family with two adult daughters. The property has kept so much of its charm and original features including the stable partitioning in the huge open plan downstairs. The owner lives on the other side of the gite but we only saw him very early on the mornings when he would clean the pool. (He only speaks French - no English) but is very charming. For any Hamilton the musical fans, they will love its history as La Fayette owned the chateau to which this stable block belonged. It is the ideal place to unwind and relax with only the mascot sheep popping by to say hello.
