"We loved Bordeaux and of course the wine! The Residhome Hotel was excellent and had a secure underground parking garage for our car. The location was great. The tram runs past the hotel and was easy to use. Buffet breakfast was very generous and delicious. Easy walking distance to the old city, Cite du Vin and other attractions and historic sites. We highly recommend the hotel."

"Our second visit to Apparteo Bordeaux and equally enjoyable! The room on the top floor was spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable with a great terrace for outdoor dining - very relaxing and appreciated as it was 30C+. A lot of renovation of the surrounding area makes for a very pleasant stay with loads of waterside restaurants, the lovely Halles de Bacalan and, of course the Cite du Vin. Can recommend taking the No. 4 bus from directly across the road to the Château de Pape Clemente...

"After difficulty finding and getting to the barge. (I’d recommend contacting owners - you often need a code for locked gates to get quai side - they don’t give you this information so you need to request it) we found the setting beautiful. Loved the decor in the Art Deco room of the Barge. The hosts provide everything needed, even putting milk, butter and orange juice in the fridge on arrival which was a nice touch. "The house is clean and well equipped, the host was friendly and responsive. An easy walk from the tram and also the river for the BAT3, it was a good base for our stay."

"First of all it should be pointed out that the flat is in a senior citizens home. Slightly strange but unless you keep very strange hours then it's not a problem. The building is quiet and the parking is covered by CCTV. I|t's close to one of the major roads out of the city so if you have a car it's not a problem. Apartment is lovely and airy (no aircon). "Notre séjour c'est passé impeccablement bien grâce à cette maison. Sa piscine au sel nous a bien rafraîchie et sa salle de loisiers est vraiment sympa. On a fortement apprécié la clim pour des nuits fraîches par les chaleurs. L'accueil était très bien avec un petit cadeau d'entrée. "The furniture is dated but the house was spotlessly cleaned. Owners were very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. I would certainly recommend this Vrbo to family and friends."

"La Demeure Absolutely gorgeous place. Pool lovely. BBQ great. Outdoor and indoor eating areas. Remote location so car absolutely necessary to reach shops ect, and no restaurants close by. Not super flexible with check in time. We were only able to check in at 5pm which seems late, but good communication!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is right opposite the lake, which is nice for walks, and there is a beach area. We had a hire car (parking was 8 euros a night) but if we hadn't, the tram line was close by. We had a studio room with a small kitchen area, which meant we could self-cater if we wanted - the fridge was really handy. The pool area was a nice addition but very small - only 4 sun loungers, and the pool wasn't very big. There was a lovely restaurant (La Ferme) a couple of minutes walk down the road which we discovered on our last evening. Would definitely stay here again. "
