In a fully renovated, traditional thatched cottage, Gîte La Grande Prairie welcomes up to 4 people in the heart of an exceptional and unspoiled natural environment.

You'll enjoy an ideal setting for relaxation, hiking, and immersing yourself in nature. A rare feature is that the cottage also offers equestrian accommodation, perfect for horseback riding enthusiasts or those wishing to stay with their equine companions.

An authentic, warm, and rejuvenating stay, close to nature.

Activities near the cottage: Numerous hiking trails, Lake St. Front, visits to the thatched cottages of Bigorre and/or Moudeyre, Les Estables ski resorts: downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, summer tobogganing, etc.

The cottage's best feature is the possibility of renting donkeys for a day or more during your stay. A partnership has been established with Chick'anes; reservations can be made before your stay: [hidden] The house is surrounded by a large plot of land where you can park your vehicle. (The land is enclosed by a wall but is not fully fenced.)
The ground floor comprises a living room with a lounge area and a fully equipped kitchen opening onto a magnificent terrace with views of the countryside. The room has a wood-burning stove. A shower room with WC completes this level.
On the first floor, you will find two bedrooms. The first has a double bed (140 cm) and direct access to the outside. The second has two single beds (90 cm). A reading area completes this floor.

Rates include towels, bed linen, cleaning, firewood for the stove, and utilities.
Electric heating: consumption included within reasonable limits of 15 kWh/day.

Horse boarding: €12 per day.

Dogs and cats are welcome free of charge, limited to one animal per stay.
