Akbulut Konak is a beautiful old Ottoman house set in its own peaceful garden just far enough out of the old town but still walkable. The host is extremely attentive and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of homemade jams, cheeses, eggs, bread and pastries. We coukd not fault our stay here in August and woukd recommend to everyone.

Historically perfect- clean and breakfast delicious- had a nap on the swing chair after walking Safranbolu historical old town. Make sure to take walking sticks to really take in all the views in town - location was perfect!!

The most relaxing and peaceful sanctuary! Everybody at Akbulut Konak is incredibly kind and helpful and the breakfast is an absolute superstar. Akbulut Konak is also walkable to museums, restaurants, cafes and shopping. If you want the perfect place to stay in Safranbolu, this is it - you will absolutely love it!

The hotel is in working distance to all historical areas. The staff is very friendly and helpful to tell us all the information. The hotel is ottoman style. The room is very clean. We also enjoy their wonderful ottoman style breakfast.

This is in an old Ottoman house. It is thus very historic and quaint. The small bathroom is modern. It is an interesting place to stay at. The owner was extremely kind and helpful.

This property is a hidden gem. It has a unique style. The room was spacious and comfortable with a great view. The hosts were very kind and helpful. The gave us advice on were to shop and eat. The breakfast was great with plenty of options. Definitely worth it.

Beautiful property set in a an old Ottoman house with a garden. It's within walking distance of the Safranbolu town centre, which has plenty of eating & shopping options. The owners are the sweetest, nicest people, very personable & helpful. The breakfast is a big & delicious spread with lovely personal touches, like the homemade jams. We loved Safranbolu as a town and would love to visit again. If we do, we'll be sure to stay at Akbulut Konak again.

It was the best facility I encountered in Turkey. Safranbolu at the time I travelled is not so packed, so you can truly enjoy its heritage and sights. The hotel is excellently located to do everything in town on foot. The room was VERY comfortable and breakfast simply glorious!

Amazing hotel

We had a lovely stay in this incredible hotel for two nights. The host Mr. Iman and his wife are very helpful and super nice! Breakfast was amazing. The beautiful garden with parking lots. Great location. Hotel located in a quite street but 5 min walk to oldtown center. Super impressed. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, clean and comfortable

This is the first hotel I stay at Safranbolu, I was amaze by the scenery of heritage town. The hotel is restored from old otttomen house, and spacious garden, everything look new, and the room is clean. If you look for spacious room, it’s may not suitable for you, but if you look for clean and historical building, that is the best choice! The owner can’t speak well English, but he is friendly and helpful. I will come back again. There is not much hotel from Safranbolu has provide car park, but the hotel has it.
