「Hi arrived around 2 30am, no-one was about , other than a guest waitfor towels for the room, whe we got to the room it had no toilet paper or towels, we had a drink, but again no spoons, the bed was very cheap and lumpy and hard. We had to sleep with the window open, because of the heat ,the road was very loud. The window had a broken safety catch, so a child could fall out, the bed was under the window, the room looked to have been made up to a third word standard, I think it's owners...

I was made to feel at home from the start and the hosts went out of their way to help make my stay as comfortable as possible (including an offer of a lift to a local pub!). 「Perfect place to stay overnight before a flight from Stansted. Lots of choice for your help yourself breakfast. Wasn’t made aware that you could leave your car there and take a taxi to the airport. Would have definitely saved some money. Maybe this could be highlighted more.」

「Does what it says on the tin. A no frills property but equally very comfortable, clean and helpful friendly staff. Despite the room being above a pub I was not disturbed by noise as I went to bed each night. Breakfast very good with a good selection.」

「Very nice stay. Young man - sorry didn't get his name - behind bar who checked me in was excellent, so helpful and polite. Breakfast, however was disappointing. Had to book a specific time slot and when I arrived, having booked and paid the evening before, I was told that they didn't know that I had booked. Was then asked what I wanted to eat with no menu choices and took quite a while to make although only cereals and toast on offer. Dispite this I would stay again as lovely location,...
