It features displays of authentic military and civilian aircraft as well as space vehicle replicas. It preserves the history and mission of this former base as well as those of neighboring bases like Beale (active) and Mather (closed) Air Force Bases. McClellan Air Force Base closed in 2001 and became McClellan Airfield, a civil aviation airport. he museum has over 40 aircraft in its collection from the fully restored, one-of-a-kind 1932 Curtiss Wright B-14B Speedwing to one of the last Grumman F-14D Tomcat retired from U.S. Navy service in 2006. In the area for a family wedding. Was perfect for our group to allow us to be together if we wanted to or retreat to our rooms for some down time. Lovely home and would stay here again in the future.

My sisters celebration of life

The home was very nice,and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend miantain the back yard would have been nice to sit outside and enjoy it. Also, the time on check out on Vrbo,Is incorrect it stated 11am host indicated it was 10 am. Check in, time would of been nice to have it at a more reasonable time. Also, no toaster it would of been nice. Otherwise, host are fantastic. Always answering my questions. They are very kind. Highly recommend the home.
