Residence Inn by Marriott Sacramento Downtown at Capitol Park
10/10 Excellent
"The evening clerk I wished I got his name was wonderful and informative. He guided us to shopping and restaurants. We felt very safe inside our room. I would stay here again if I am ever in the area. "
"The staff were all very friendly and do a great job at servicing their guests. I love the location its so convenient and walking distance to both the DOCO and Downtown Sacramento areas. "
"The room was spotless, I Arrived in Sacramento on 1/17/2026 around 1 am and we checked in at Quality Inn and it was the worse experience ever, we immediately checked out and went to vagabond Inn and the guy that worked in the front was AWESOME, I mean he took AWESOME to a whole new level because we checked in right away and did not have to wait till 3pm, I didn't get his name but he had great customer service and showed compassion. I recommend this place anytime the people their are great and always smilitng."
"We chose this hotel because of its uniqueness and its location in the heart of Sacramento. We found it to be lovely, restful, and great for walking. On the way to Sacramento we read some less-than-great reviews, so were a bit apprehensive when we arrived, but found that we had everything we needed. There was no staff member on-site in the evening, and we had no unmet needs, but we were given a number to text if we needed anything. We were on the second floor, and found that it took the hot water a while to arrive, but we eventually did get good, hot water for showers. Our biggest problem was parking, which can add quite a bit to the price of the room. If you do feel you have found free parking, be sure to check the signs, especially those written in red. We made the mistake of parking in a good space on a day that was prohibited because of street cleaning, and the parking ticket is very expensive. "
