The food was a highlight! Breakfast and dinner were very tasty and well presented.
The culinary food workshop was amazing, the chef was a great teacher to learn classic Finnish dishes.
The downside was the ‘off season’. Staff frequently said ‘something wasn’t available because of the off season’. 40 mins out of town and lunch was only available as a room order. The shuttle service was significantly reduced and a taxi in/out was an expensive trip.
While in their ‘peak’ season this would be a must to visit and stay. More awareness on the website and from staff beforehand to plan accordingly would be of benefit.
A beautiful and tranquil escape for the solo or couple travelling North Finland.
