「オーナーの方は大変親切、温かみのあるホテルです。非常に快適に過ごせました。イギリスによくあるB＆Bですが、ロビーはあります。チェックインは玄関横のチャインムを鳴らせば、開けに来てもらえます。（逆に、オートロックのため、開けっぱなしではありません。） 7.5GBPで食べられるFull English Breakfastもお得感がありました。シャワーブースしかありませんが、特段不便は感じません。周辺は住宅街で、静かで安全に感じました。」

「英語がほとんど話せない私でも大事に扱ってくださったやさしいご主人。もっと会話ができると更に楽しかったのだろうけれど…。サッカー観戦で訪れましたがスタジアムまで徒歩３０分位でしょうか。日本人の感覚だと床のカーペットが気になりますが外国ではこれくらいが常識なのかな。小さいけれどシャワー室があり、シャワーが上下に移動できるのですごく良かった。お部屋は小さめですが女子の私には気にならず、快適に過ごせました。とてもアットホームで朝食はご主人の手作り卵料理が食べられます。あまり近くをウロウロしなかったので近所のSHOP情報は不明です。」

「ソーセージが絶品でした。ご主人も感じのいい人でした。オフピークなのでとても安かったです。sandown 駅自身がちょっとわかりにくく、駅を目印に行ったため、見つけるのに苦労しました。」

「Lovely stay. The host was very welcoming and friendly. Plenty of parking and very easy to check in (just send a message on here or contact the property directly to advise of your arrival time.) The breakfast was really great and there is lots of options for all diets. Room was spacious and clean, bed was really comfortable. There is also a fridge under the stairs for guests to use which is very thoughtful. Plenty of parking right outside. There’s a few restaurants and a supermarket a short walk...

「If The Ivy did hotels this is what they would be like. Beautiful decor, quirky layout and lovely hidden garden. Room felt luxurious and the bed was super comfy. We ate in the garden which was very relaxed, such a pretty setting. The breakfast was superb, eggy brioche with bacon was delicious and the continental selection was very high end. Latte and Americano coffees included which we've noticed that some hotels have started charging for - not good when you are paying a premium for your stay....

"いつもは四つ星以上に泊まる私ら夫婦の視点で一言。クルーズの前泊に安価で機能優先だけで選びました。確かに、日常の買い物、港への近さ、駅・バスターミナルからは歩いて行けるなど機能的には大満足でした。しかし、覚悟していたものの、部屋の狭さや貧弱な設備はなるほど２つ星レベル。円安の今、この宿泊料金で文句は言えませんが、次回以降は、もう少し無理してお金を払ってでも、他のより高評価のホテルを選びます。"
