Unexpected Flood

Cabin was great and I have no complaints. Unfortunately my family and I went when ruidoso got hit with a flash flood. Cabin wasn’t affected with the flood but we didn’t have water for almost a whole day. We had to leave early due to the water outage. For future reference I highly recommend this cabin. It was easy to contact management. They are very reliable and friendly.

Great location, quiet neighborhood. It’s a toss-up on if we’d stay here again, would need improvement. The pull-out couch had a sign that said it was not for guest use, but we pulled it open to look for a missing game piece, and it was covered in black mold. The hot tub cover was falling apart, there were steps falling apart with exposed rusty nails, and there were many dishes with literal dirt or dried milk on them. The pots provided were very battered and chipping up non-stick coating. They tell you up front that you’ll be given limited supplies, so it necessitates going to the store for paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags - but would be more hospitable to have enough of these supplies for the entire stay.

Nice place to call home for a week

The cabin was spacious, clean and cozy. The hot tub was a very nice touch to our long, eventful days.

Not bad - needs some updates/cleaning

The house overall is pretty nice and there is lots of wildlife, but most of the furniture and beds are outdated, and many of the amenities did not function properly. The place definitely needs a deep clean. The windows were so dirty you could not see the beautiful mountain views without going outside. Blinds and fans were very dusty, fireplace did not operate properly, hot tub blower did not work, and taking out the trash is a large endeavor. Needs an update and deep cleaning to demand the price that is being asked.

Nice place to stay!

I loved staying in this cabin, I will definitely come back. It is in an excellent location, a very quiet area, you can really rest and it is very comfortable for family time. Maybe it need to update some things in the kitchen and entertainment area, but even so, it was magical to stay here. Excellent attention from the manager. I really liked the cabin and the place where it is located.

Relatively happy

Nice place and great location. Dishes are nasty and old and unsafe. Need to be replaced. Downstairs toilet barely flushed and upstairs toilet never did. Great bones but terrible upkeep. Even the cover to the hot tub is completely crumbling. I think it's a great house but a small amount of reconditioning would go a long way.

Weekend get away

It is a nice house but really could use some updating. One of the reasons we chose this house over others was the size and also the hot tub, but we did not trust getting in and out of the hot tub due to the steps being broken and the stability of the porch it sat on not looking secure. We did enjoy the fireplace and the scenery. Again, updates throughout and some repairs would make this an amazing home.

Roomy cabin

Great property, good location but very steep and curvy road. You will need 4 wheel drive and chains in the winter. Cable tv very limited channels. Hot tub has a leak per technician who came out but was useable after he filled it. I would rent again if they fix the hot tub.

Loved our stay!

We enjoyed our time at this location! Quiet and peaceful location. We did encounter 3 big spiders, but for being out of town, I’m sure it’s to be expected. Would stay here again!
