ARRIVAL & MAIN LEVEL
A gravel circular driveway climbs the hillside before leveling near the cabin, with parking for up to two vehicles. One step leads from the driveway onto the entry deck, followed by level access into the home.

The single-level cabin welcomes guests with warm log interiors, beautifully updated flooring, comfortable furnishings, and the inviting atmosphere of a true mountain getaway.

The living room features a wood-burning fireplace, Smart TV, and direct access to the outdoor hot tub deck. Central heating and air conditioning, along with an additional mini-split in the living room, provide comfortable temperatures throughout the seasons.

The beautifully renovated eat-in kitchen combines modern conveniences with the relaxed charm of mountain cabin living.

Situated on the opposite side of the cabin for additional privacy, the second king bedroom features a comfortable king bed, Smart TV, closet, and spa robes.

A full bathroom with a tub/shower combination is conveniently located in the adjoining hallway.

The hallway also includes a laundry area with a washer, dryer, and deep freezer.

LOCATION
Bears Gone Fishing is tucked into a quiet, wooded residential setting within the Village of Ruidoso, offering a wonderful balance of privacy and convenient access to the area`s attractions.

Midtown Ruidoso, Grindstone Lake, Alto Lake, Ruidoso Winter Park, and Ski Apache are within driving distance. Guests can enjoy hiking, skiing, golf, shopping, dining, and the many outdoor adventures that make Lincoln County a favorite mountain destination.

MOUNTAIN TRAVEL AND WEATHER
Mountain weather and road conditions can change quickly, particularly during winter. Guests should monitor current conditions and travel with an appropriately equipped vehicle.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended, particularly for holiday reservations, longer stays, and winter travel. Coverage may provide protection for qualifying circumstances that fall outside the property`s cancellation policy.

GOOD TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING
- Maximum occupancy: 4 guests, including children.
- Primary renter must be 25+ and remain at the property throughout the stay.
- Maximum parking: 2 vehicles. Parking is available on the gravel circular driveway.
- No pets, except service animals as required by applicable law.
- No smoking or vaping inside the home.
- No parties, events, or unauthorized gatherings.
- Quiet hours: 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM.
- Trailers, RVs, and campers require prior authorization and must fit entirely within designated parking areas.
- Outdoor campfires, fire pits, and fire tables are prohibited at short-term rental properties in the Village of Ruidoso. Additional fire restrictions may apply.
- Firewood is not provided. Please do not start a fire in the wood-burning fireplace on departure day.
- Children must be supervised around the hot tub, decks, and outdoor areas.

GUEST VERIFICATION AND SCREENING
For the safety and security of our guests, homeowners, and properties, Prestige Vacays, LLC partners with SafelyStay, Inc., an independent third-party provider of guest verification, screening, and accidental damage protection services.

Guests booking through Vrbo will receive an email invitation from Safely to complete additional guest screening. Participation is voluntary and does not affect the reservation or the accidental damage protection included with the stay.

GUEST RENTAL AGREEMENT
A signed Guest Rental Agreement is required prior to check-in and contains the complete terms, conditions, House Rules, and property disclosures.

Compliance with House Rules, community regulations, and local ordinances is required throughout your stay. Significant or repeated violations may result in termination of the reservation without refund, in accordance with the Guest Rental Agreement and applicable booking platform policies.

- Quiet hours: 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM. Sound carries easily in mountain communities, so please keep outdoor conversations, music, and other noise at a respectful level.

PARKING
- Maximum parking: 2 vehicles.
- Trailers, RVs, or campers require prior authorization and must fit entirely within designated parking areas.
- Please park only in designated parking areas.

HOT TUB SAFETY
- Children must never be left unattended in or around the hot tub.
- No glass is permitted in or around the hot tub.
- Secure the hot tub cover after each use.
- Please observe quiet hours when using the hot tub in the evening.

PETS, SMOKING AND FIRE SAFETY
- No pets are permitted, except service animals as required by applicable law.
- No smoking or vaping inside the home, including marijuana.
- Outdoor smoking requires extreme caution and may be prohibited during fire restrictions. Never discard smoking materials on the property, driveway, or from the decks.
- Outdoor campfires, fire pits, and fire tables are prohibited at short-term rental properties in the Village of Ruidoso.

CARE OF THE HOME
- Children must be supervised on decks, stairs, and outdoor areas.
- Please keep food and colored beverages out of the bedrooms to help protect bedding, carpets, and furnishings.
- Please do not move furniture for your safety and to prevent damage.
- Please use the hot tub, wood-burning fireplace, grill, and other equipment responsibly.
- Firewood is not provided.
- Please do not start a fire in the wood-burning fireplace on the day of departure.

TRASH DISPOSAL
- The Village of Ruidoso does not provide curbside trash collection. Residents and visitors use the public beige dumpsters located throughout the Village.
- All food waste and household trash must be securely bagged and disposed of in these dumpsters before departure.
- Never leave trash outdoors or on the decks due to wildlife activity.
