"Spotless, spacious property with all you need, in a quiet new build area of small village. A few nice low cost local restaurants with no frills but delicious food, if you fancy fresh fish restaurants a bit further west on the coast has lovely beaches with mainly Spanish tourists all serving the daily catches.Owner very helpful can communicate on WhatsApp for easy quick translations. "The Citrea is a lovely hotel in Santander. A short walk from the Modern Art Museum (not the Botin Centre) and the town hall and the bus station, through the tunnel. Having been to Santander we knew this wasn't far so no issues. The room was cozy, but had plenty of storage cupboards. The air conditioning was absolutely needed in the heat of the summer, would go again just for this. The staff were fantastic, supporting us with every ask and arranged a late checkout on our departure day."

"Nice gardens surrounding the house/palace in an isolated natural place inviting to relaxing and enjoy nature. Only 30 minutes to Santoña and other attractions. Restaurant team very friendly but people at reception were not friendly not knowledgeable, so making some situations uneasy. Only breakfast and dinner offered at the hotel restaurants. Food was quite good. A couple of local small restaurants in the town. We likes Casa de Montaña."
