Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean rooms. The pool is small but adequate for a quick cooling off but very close to the beach. Limited dining options in the area but a close grocery store. It is a long walk to the Old Town so we drove. Didn't look at the public transportation options as we had a car.

Modern spacious rooms and super friendly staff
Unfortunately we only stayed 1 night at this hotel. The rooms/mini apartments were new and really nice and comfortable. The beach is only 10 min walk from the hotel and if you want to stay in, the pool and surrounding area are perfect for that. The staff were really helpful and it is a nice small cosy hotel. Parking is just in front of the hotel

Wonderful in quiet area
An absolutely wonderful small family owned hotel in a quiet area. Everyone working here is friendly, helpful and easygoing. The rooms are spacious with a small kitchenette and fridge. There is a supermarket 8 minutes walking distance and a nearby beach, 5 minutes by foot. The pool is small but perfectly sufficient for a hotel of this size, and great for that day when you just can’t bother going to the beach.

A clean well located Small hotel. Our unit had a kitchenette which would be perfect for a bit longer stay. We loved Rovinj and hope to come back for a longer than overnight stay.

Mooie kamer zeer ruim en modern . Ligt wel 20 a 25 minuten wandelen van het centrum. Het is wel redelijk duur qua verblijf. De gastheer was oke. Ontbijt hebben we niet genomen.

Sehr freundliches Personal, tolle Lage 5 Minuten von einem schönen Strand entfernt und mit dem ausgeliehenen Fahrrad ist man sehr flink in der schönen Altstadt von Rovinj. Gerne würde ich hier wieder Urlaub machen!

Klein, gemütlich mit Pool und super Frühstück
Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend ca. 20 Minuten Fussmarsch zum Zentrum von Rovinj. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Kühlschrank und einen Balkon mit Sitzgelegenheit und Wäscheständer. Ebenfalls empfehlenswert ist das leckere Frühstück. Nach einem anstrengenden Sightseeing-Tag in der Stadt kann man am kleinen, gemütlichen Pool relaxen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Villa Marea is a place to go at Revinj.
Fantastique place to star. A five minute walk to beach and twenty to twinty-five to port where everything is. The people at the hotel were very friendly and helpful.

Hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood,about 20 minute walk from the downtown. It’s very well maintained, clean and pleasant. Our room had a nice balcony to relax and wind down from a busy day of sight seeing

Tolle Unterkunft
Sehr schönes familiäres Hotel. Toller Pool und man ist zu Fuß in 7 Minuten direkt am Strand. Parkplätze gibt es direkt vor dem Haus. Sehr nettes Personal und alles top sauber. Schön angelegt und gepflegt. Fußweg in die Altstadt von Rovinj etwa 20 Minuten. Haben die Hälfte des Weges mit dem Auto gemacht. Dann findet man noch kostenlose Parkplätze. Frühstück auch gut und völlig ausreichend. Absolute Empfehlung!

It could have been so much better
Perfectly comfortable stay in studio although we were expecting the room to be bigger. Unfortunately there was some construction work opposite the apartment which meant noise from 8.30am until around 5pm (nothing to do with this apartment) so it was difficult to enjoy breakfast on the balcony. The breakfast provided by the owners was good but there is a supermarket 5 minutes walk away if you want to self cater.

Lovely accommodation. Lovely pool!
We stayed 2 nights here before moving on during a tour around Croatia. It is a lovely small hotel and the pool is an added bonus. It would not be easy to find without a SatNav though!

Short Holiday.
Stayed for 1 week in June 2017. Perfectly placed to visit Rovinj and surrounding area. Great to have a swimming pool to come back to after spending the day site seeing or at the Beach. We stayed in a studio (room 202) with a see view. We didn't take up the option of breakfast until our last day there. Regret not doing it every morning! There is nothing to fault.

Great family hotel!
We stayed in the family room and it was huge! Came with a living room, kitchen, balcony, and private room with king size bed and it's own bathroom too (apart from the main bathroom out in the living room area). The sofa turns into a queen size sofa bed. Everything was just so clean, and comfortable. Me and my family loved it. The only thing we found "not okay" was the private room bathroom smelled like urine all the time....even before we used it. But other than that...I would totally recommend this hotel to everyone

Welcoming hotel only a short walk from town centre
We were very impressed with our stay at "villa marea" and on arrival made to feel welcome. Both the hotel and our room was spotlessly clean and we were offered a kettle so,that we could make ourselves a hot drink in our room despite there being unlimited hot drinks in the lobby. The hotel is ideally situated for beach walks and is only a short stroll to the town

Schöne Villa mit Pool, der zum Verweilen einlädt
Bei der Ankunft wurden wir von Ines herzlich begrüßt, danach haben wir auch den Besitzer kennen gelernt. Das Service war sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Die Ausstattung des Hotels ist gut, das Zimmer war schön sauber und wurde täglich gereinigt. Im Badezimmer hat alles funktioniert und es war geräumig. Von der Villa kann man sehr schöne lange Spaziergänge oder Läufe im naheliegenden Wald bzw. am Strand machen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und eine Bäckerei befinden sich in der Nähe. Zum Strand ist es nicht weit, nur ein kurzer Spaziergang durch den Waldpark Zlatni Rt. Frühstück haben wir nicht genommen, daher kann ich nichts dazu sagen. Ein Plus ist, dass Kaffee und Zitronenwasser allen Gästen den ganzen Tag lang zur Verfügung stehen. Allgmein eine schöne Unterkunft. Einzig die Preisangabe auf hotels.com zur Villa war nicht korrekt. Der Preis wurde als "Insiderpreis" bzw. reduzierter Preis angeboten, aber dort angekommen sahen wir, dass der Preis, den wir pro Nacht gezahlt haben, dem Normalpreis entspricht, welcher an der Rezeption angebracht war. Schade, das hat mich ein wenig enttäuscht.

Probably the best place to stay in Roving
Located in a quiet and well looked after residential neighbourhood but only 20 mins walk to old town and 10 mins to beach. The walk to old town if you follow the beach is beautiful. If you want somewhere closer to eat there are good restaurants within a 10 min walk. Bike hire is cheap and bikes are well maintained. Really friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is extremely well maintained. Studio room had fridge, microwave and hob and bed was very comfortable. Rovinj old town is beautiful. Villa Marea is a great place to explore Istria and I can only concur the reviews.

The price for the studio room we had was of great value. The staff was exceptional and very helpful (especially Ines). Lovely small boutique villa with no fuss. Loved the quaintness of Villa Marea. Owners live on property. A little bit of walk into town and a short walk to the beach. The night walk was well light and safe. A couple of neighborhood bar/restaurants and a larger grocery store are nearby, which was quite handy. If you need an excellent English speaking taxi, ask for Mario.

Pour la quatrième fois je séjourne à Villa Marea qui par l'excellence de ses services offre bien être à ses hôtes. Proximité de la plage, calme, gentillesse et attention des propriétaires, petite piscine et depuis peu un service petit déjeuner est proposé moyennant supplément. Propreté, le ménage est assuré chaque jour dans les studios, excellente literie, tout est mis en œuvre pour un confort absolu.

Lite og koselig hotell med hyggelig personale som snakker godt engelsk. Hotellet ligger i rolige omgivelser og har lett adkomst til strand. Rommet vårt hadde en koselig balkong som vi ofte benyttet. Det er mulig å få kjøpt god frokost på hotellet, likevel valgte vi å ordne frokost på rommet. Rommet inneholdt et godt kjøleskap og nærbutikken hadde et godt utvalg av ost, kjøttpålegg og brød.

Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal in der Villa Maria und haben dort einen zweiwöchigen Urlaub verbracht. Die Doppelzimmer im Hotel könnten etwas größer sein, aber es gibt auch Studios zu mieten die eine kleine Küchenzeile haben. Zum Frühstück gibt es in Buffet Form Brot Aufschnitt Käse Müsli und Ob zum Frühstück gibt es in Buffetform Brot, Aufschnitt ,Käse, Müsli, Joghurt und Obst. Kaffee und Tee aus dem Automaten stehen den ganzen Tag frei zur Verfügung.Man erreicht vom Hotel aus in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto die wunderschöne Altstadt von Rovinj und in 5 - 10 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad oder in 15 Minuten zu Fuß den Strand. Fahrräder kann man direkt im Hotel mieten. In der Nähe des Hotels gibt es Restaurants oder man fährt in die Altstadt zum Essen in der Nähe des Hotels gibt es Restaurants oder man fährt in die Altstadt zum Essen oder etwas außerhalb vom Ort, wo ist auch genügend Restaurants gibt.. Es war ein rund um toller Urlaub und wir werden wieder dort hinfahren und in der Villa Marea übernachten.
