We have an inside room that was above the breakfast buffer area. It was on the 4th floor so the noise wasn't a problem, but I found the room dark. The check in experience was a bit strange because the lady checking us in informed us that they preauthorize a security deposit on the credit card, which is fine, but she said the reason was if we break something in the room. I was traveling with my adult daughter and I don't think we fit the profile of someone who trashes a hotel room :) Maybe some training would be in order as she could have simply told us that it is their policy for all customers

Staff is very helpful and nice. They are very willing to help. The hotel is clean. I accidentally made a wrong booking which was found just before arrival. The hotel staff was very friendly to provide assistance. I can stay in the hotel successfully with their rearrangement. It is not far away from the train station. Moreover it is close to the river side which is near to the Arctic Museum. This is a good place to see the northern light. I truely recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Scandic Rovaniemi City, and overall it was a great experience. The hotel is in a fantastic location - very close to the airport and perfectly situated for exploring the city. Since we arrived late at night, it was an ideal stop for our first day. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and welcoming. The lady who checked us in went above and beyond - she even showed us how to keep our car plugged in and warm overnight so it would be in good condition the next morning. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was decent, and the location couldn’t be better for getting around Rovaniemi.
