Good place to stay a convenient for Rosslare Port.
Second time stayed at Archways(last time was in summer. Excellent food, dinner and breakfast and affable efficient hosts, room was superb, the only negative was arriving on a very cold night when the heating went off early evening we were perished.
Great place to stay having gust arrived in Ireland on the ferry from Wales. The room was very nice and the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.
It was the last night of our holiday in Ireland, and unfortunately I was really poorly. The owners were so kind-i just wish I had felt better able to take it all in. Point to note, they give you fresh milk in your rooms for tea/coffee-so much better than those UHT capsules! We would certainly go back again.
Nice hosts, good looking, comfortable and quiet room.
Open bathroom design, so the whole place can get wet. If you don't get any hot water, try switching back to the cold water side - our shower was plumbed backwards.
Fantastic, hearty breakfast.
Would definitely stay here again.
What an amazing place. Room well appointed. Eileen and Chris take great pride in their accommodations. The best part was the amazing dinner and breakfast! Chris is a gifted chef whose passion is food. Locally sourced food and imaginatively prepared. The meal was the highlight of our week in Ireland!! Make sure you contact Eileen and Chris directly to book dinner. Oh and the smoked salmon and eggs for breakfast were awesome!! We will be back!!

Not happy with twin beds or shower!
Everything was great except we booked on Hotels.com website a double bed and when we arrived we had two twin beds! Showed them my email confirming double and it did not matter. They had two open rooms but would only move us for an additional fee! Also our bathroom was our shower — no separate shower! Everything got wet when we showered!! Except for those two things, everything else was great! Hurband was a professional chef and the breakfast was delicious!!
The place is amazing. The couple that own it are very friendly and make you feel right at home. They also cook an amazing traditional Irish breakfast. Very clean and quiet.

Great place to stay the night before the ferry
The Archways is easy to find, on the main road a couple of miles short of the ferry port on the road from Wexford. On arrival we were greeted by Eileen and shown to our lovely, clean, comfortable room. I hadn't realised we could have arranged dinner in advance, but we were directed to "Tides" in nearby Rosslare Strand and enjoyed a nice meal there before an early night.
We slept well and at 6am sharp next morning, cleaned and packed, we met Chris, who was awaiting our arrival in the dining room in his full chef's whites - impressed! He rustled us up a superb cooked breakfast (I wish I'd asked for another sausage or two - they were great!) and Eileen arrived to check us out just as we finished.
We were on the road well before 7am and checked in on the ferry ten minutes later. Do leave plenty of time as it sailed 15 minutes early at 7.45! We had a cabin, so lost no time making up for the 5.30am start.
In summary, we had a restful night, great breakfast, and a flying start to the ferry, thanks to the Archways.
This was a stop before touring Ireland. A small cosy hotel with attention to details. Comfortable bed and all facilties were clean and the breakfast, cooked to our request from home made or local produce. Very welcoming and would be ideal as a base from which to tour the south east corner.

Room average breakfast good
Enjoyed the stay. Room decor a little tired . Ensuite small and wet room - water went everywhere. Limited space in bedroom to put down case.
