The rooms were cozy, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the entire place felt fresh and beautifully designed. "I texted when we landed at the airport and was told to go to a restaurant. There they told me our apartment had issues and we would be in hotel rooms. We needed the washing machine and kitchen though. We were never notified of this change until we actually arrived to check in. The rooms were nice so no complaints to with then but we would have preferred to stay in the place we rented. My daughter has many food allergies so I bring her food to prepare and was not able to prepare that food."

Art Boutique Hotel Berat

10/10 Excellent

Bujtina Kapllani

8/10 Good

"Great spot near the Charles Bridge. Lovely building and super charming room. The staff were a bit busy and seemed distracted which was a shame. Breakfast great and filling. You can walk anywhere in town from here. Spotless bedroom and good linen. Definitely recommend. Staff could be a bit friendlier, where are the smiles?"

Hotel Plaza Berat

10/10 Excellent

"35 countries under my belt so trust me when I say this hotel is a good one. If you’re gonna be in Berat this is the one to choose. The view down the promenade from the rooftop restaurant is fantastic. Wonderful way to start the day each breakfast. Good location overall, nice park across street, and nice view of the Colombo hotel dome from the same rooftop outdoor deck. Great breakfast. Staff is perfect. Only improvement they could make immediately is get some ice machines on property. Don’t know what the deal is with all of Albania getting ice anywhere including hotels, or napkins at most meals or drink orders, but that’s nonsense by the rest of the developed world standard. This is NOT a plaza hotel issue, but since seeing it in other hotels and cities before coming to Berat, we notice it. This hotel borders on perfection regardless. :)"

Hotel Berati

8/10 Good

"Very nice room and lovely lady at desk . Check in in my booking say 13:00 and when arrive at the time for it they said check in is 14:00-14:30 she said that is incorrect and contact Expedia for fix this on future. Lovely place nice room and bathroom clean and walking distance to everything. You can leave luggage if you need."

Old Town Guesthouse Guri

10/10 Excellent

"If I could leave an 11 star review I would. Berat is an Albanian gem and this property and its warm and friendly owner are perfect. Our room was absolutely stunning and well presented. We had a nice chat with the owner over a glass of home made Raki and wish we could have stayed longer. Wonderful stay"
