I loved that they had AC. The roof top was beautiful and the location is fantastic. Walking distance from all the major attractions like the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colosseum, and even the Pantheon. There were so many nice restaurants and great stores/boutiques to shop. I would highly recommend this property

Sehr staubig, Handbrause und Fön defekt. Lautes Vibrationsgeräusch Tag und Nacht im Zimmer. Schlaf war nur mit Ohrenstöpseln möglich. Wurde leider auch nach mehrfachen Anfragen ignoriert. Zimmer sehr klein.

Un beau séjour globalement. Personnel très aimable. Chambre mal nettoyée (beaucoup de poussière sous le lit, derrière la télé et sur la toilette).

My wife and I knew we were booking here more for the location than anything else and it was still a disappointment. It is a 2 minute walk from the Spanish Steps / conveniently located near the Spagna metro - but these are the only positives I can honestly come up. The central air vents (not the AC) were stuffed full of dust and do not appear to have been cleaned in months. After inspecting the bed upon checking in, we found dead bugs folded into the base sheet of the mattress... I understand the calcium present in Rome's water can make cleaning difficult, but the shower was full of soap scum and looks like it had never been given more than a courtesy rinse as it's "cleaning". Frank may be available 24/7 by WhatsApp but the hotel is not staffed 24/7 - an important distinction as Frank appears to only be there to check guests in. The front door is rarely locked, meaning security is entirely contingent on an evelator and the expectation a staircase door on the hotel's floor remains closed. Something that a guest could easily open and no "staff" would know of until the next time they show up for a check in.

The room was basically clean. The shower needed a little work some existing mold. Shower door could be challenging as it bumps into the bidet when trying to get in, but definitely workable. Other than that the facility was very clean. Frank was very helpful and the location is outstanding

The outside patio space was great. It is a common space but we typically had it to ourselves. The room was adequate. Shower could use updating. Frank was very helpful. When booking be aware this is a room on a floor with 2 other rooms and businesses on the 3 lower floors, not a hotel. Frank (front desk) was only there in the morning and to greet us when we arrived. It was fine for what we were looking for. Convenient to transportation and very walkable.

What shall I say about this place? It definitely is not a hotel but basically about 7 rooms in two floors. It was not squeaky clean, dusty everywhere, including towel racks which I had to ask them to clean twice. Worst of all, they had a major problem with water leaking from the shower into the bathroom and living room. They did fix it but not until the last day which btw, we had to leave early for them to fix. The host was a nice guy but the property was not professionally run like a hotel. False advertisement. The patio was nice though and location was great.

Good location.
The accommodation is in a great part of Rome. Very walkable to the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Spanish Steps. About 30 min walk from Termini Station. It is a small property with only 3 rooms. Service is great and Frank, the manager cleaned my room as requested as soon as I asked as I was coughing quite a bit from the visible dust on all the vents. The bathroom is very small and tricky to get into the shower as the door only opens up about 45 degrees due to the bidet being in front of it. The room I had was quite small but I was travelling solo, so it was fine. I would stay here again for the location and the security but would not necessarily call it "luxury." The hotel tax is advertised as 3.50 Euros pp/nt but I was charged 7.00 Euros per night, so will be asking them about this.

Excelente servicio.
Un lugar pequeño pero muy bien ubicado y super acogedor. El personal fue sumamente atento, nos recomendaron lugares, maneras de trasladarnos entre otras cosas. Recomiendo ampliamente este lugar para hospedarse. Disfrutamos mucho nuestra estancia en Roma.

Clean, quaint and comfortable rooms. Hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to many attractions. The property manager, Frank, is very attentive and flexible with early and late checking in.

Pésima experiencia. Son habitaciones en un 4o piso de un edificio de oficinas. Funciona como RBB te entregan las llaves y tú te encargas. Nunca hubo nadie en el escritorio que tienen de “ recepción”. Cuidado si llegas más tarde del check in te cobran 61 euros en ningún lado en la reserva lo dice ni tampoco te avisan cundo te comunicas para avisar la hora de tu check in. La habitación es muy pequeña, en la regadera no cabe una persona robusta. Los ganchos en el closet miden de altura como 1.90 imposible colgar tu ropa. Se ofrecen con traslado al aeropuerto y es mentira. Tuvimos que dejar nuestras maletas en “resguardo” y solo te las dejan ahí a un lado de una silla sin que nadie las vigile, mucho menos bajo llave porque no hay nadie en recepción, con el riesgo de que cualquiera se las pueda llevar. Carísimo para lo que es, por la mitad hubiera conseguido un RBB que me ofrecía el mismo servicio. Hoteles.com no permitan que nos engañen sus afiliados con lo que ofrecen en su páginas

We liked that the property was within walking distance to attractions and the shopping areas. Building was secure with many locks. The downside was we had to carry around 3 keys and the key card for the room while out and about but it was worth the level of security. One thing we would recommend get changed was the name of the suite was on the key fob so if the keys got stolen or lost, the thief's could get into the room if they were found. In room safe was good, rain shower was awesome. Frank was very helpful and nice. Overall a good place to crash for a couple of nights

Great location in Rome. Friendly staff who are generally not there on the weekend. Tight quarters although the bathroom and closet are good size. Nice rooftop balcony if need to step out of room for a call or alone time. Elevator was lifesaver.

Great hotel to stay in which in is the center of everything! The balcony is a great perk to use after a long day of walking around the city. I highly recommend staying here.

Great location but if you are looking for a full-service hotel, the Shali is not the place to stay. The rooms are located on a 4 floor of a building without amenities. The receptionist Frank is a great guy but if you need something at night or you forget the keys in your room, nobody will be there at the site to open the main door for you. Yes indeed, the "suites" are located near Via del Corso, Spanish stars, and more notorious shopping streets in Rome.

A lovely hotel in a convenient location
The hotel was very well located and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was travelling with a 10-year-old and we both had a great time and felt really welcomed by staff. The room was clean and the bathroom nice. The terrace was lovely for a snack or to enjoy the sun and some ice cream 😎 It was easy to walk everywhere from the hotel. Very pleased with our choice! Even though they didn't serve breakfast, there was complementary tea and coffee and nearby breakfast cafes were easy to spot.

The accommodation is located right in the center of the city and you can basically walk everywhere. The personnel is super friendly and the room cozy. Only the bathroom could use a bit of improvement here and there.

Disappointed, establishment can be better.
I was disappointed given the name of the establishment. Beware of the listed property highlights as they are misleading. -Airport transfer means they will call a cab for you. - Free WiFi- was not able to get reception In the room had to go outside for phone call and internet use. - No laundry facilities. Was told to wash anything had to venture out about 15 away. - Breakfast is smaller than expected nothing luxurious. - And most importantly the bathroom did not seem clean ( see pictures) - dust on the edges of the bedroom floor looks like it had not been cleaned for a while. Although the front reception was nice and the location is great for shopping and sight seeing, things can be better.

Localização excelente para quem deseja ter liberdade de se locomover a pé para os pontos turísticos. Administrador prestativo e solicito. O imóvel merece uma reforma, está desgastado. A limpeza do banheiro merece mais atenção. O tamanho do quarto é bom e a cama é ótima. Roupas de cama e banho ok. Ficamos em 3 hospedados e correu tudo bem.

The rooms were spacious, clean and had good showers. The terrace was excellent, so nice to have an outside space to relax. Breakfast was served here and we sat out often .
