Liked: freedom of space indoors (much better than being stuck in a single small hotel room, as I've done before in Rome); comfy bed; shutters kept rooms cool despite high temperatures (over 30 C) outside; full facilities for cooking, refrigerating, washing clothes, and bathroom/washing machine already stocked with supplies; perfect Wi-Fi, so important since I was there for 2 weeks on business; very close to supermarkets (several such as Elite under 10 min walk); close to major train station (Roma Termini around 20 min walk); safe area (there are some nearby streets en route to Termini where a few homeless people hang out early in the morning/late at night; despite being a lone female, I felt no risk, they were no nuisance at all; however, if passing them would make you feel uncomfortable, be assured there's a multitude of other streets running parallel which you can take instead - incidentally, some of these smell beautifully of a maquis fragrance...just follow your nose!); friendly and considerate owner (and his daughter who checked me in) who replies swiftly to email/phone enquiries, in English, e.g. I experienced a small incident one day (minor water leak in bathroom from apartment upstairs) and owner arrived very quickly and dealt with it all there and then, with no further problems.
Tip: Use the keypad code buttons for opening the street-level door to the apartment block rather than the key; the buttons worked every time while the key usually didn't.
