"Good and peaceful base for exploring central Catania. No traffic noise as hotel is on a small cul-de-sac. Rooms are large and bathroom in 321 had a full bath. Staff were helpful and friendly. Aircon in our room was not working . Toilet seat had come loose . Bed was large and firm. Overall a decent space . TV was LG and fairly modern. Only had Italian channels."

The location is perfect very close to city center and easy access to all major attractions and transit. "we had a one night stay in the Manganelli Palace. The staff were exceptionally helpfull and friendly, which made up for the rather run down internal condition of the room and some of the corridors. My bathroom in particular was in need of a refurbishment as there was black mould around the bath. It was clean but run down. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast good. I would stay here again because it is so centrally located and the staff were so lovely."
