「Our host was so friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was abundant and delicious! 」

「Un accueil au top ! Par contre, gros bruit la nuit au niveau des radiateurs. Difficultés à dormir.」

「Our check in could be described as perfunctory boarding on the brusque . Upon arrival and pressing the bell we waited a few minutes and someone came along. Didn’t introduce himself or even say “ Welcome etc”, just “what is your name, then your room number is, handed over keys and asked about breakfast. We weren’t even told about the residents lounge ( which we discovered the next morning - a bit too late by then). Rooms were moderately clean, with a couple of spiders and cobwebs in the ceiling...

「Room spotless. Comfortable bed & lovely bathroom. But awfully small. Could only open 1 bag at a time. Check in instructions only came through 10mins before our arrival. Just not good enough for us. But all in all (& for the price) was excellent. Chaumont is a beautiful town. Buffalo Grill brilliant!!」
