"This place is in the middle of a remodel but has really been rundown and the remodel has been going on for some time but it doesn’t appear that this inside has seen any new amenities. Very disappointed."

"Waited 35 min to check in, bathrooms downstairs were flooded and I really had to go, my bed had slope to the right side. Room was clean and quiet but room service starts making noise at 8am."

"The rooms were very clean, the property was beautiful. The staff was fantastic and really went the extra mile. Shout out to Andrew, Kennedy and Joy who really went above and beyond to be extra helpful and made our first visit to Mammoth unforgettable. 3 of the most helpful people I’ve ever met. We celebrated our 15th anniversary and when we asked for a late checkout, they offered us an extra hour! One small area for improvement, the restaurant was understaffed the first night with only one woman serving and she kind of took it out on us guests. But everything thing else was amazing. The ski valet was so convenient. Shout out to Rodney who was extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great. "

"Pictures match the location.There needs to be some instructions on how to run the TV system.Many DVD's which was good.The walk to the ski lifts is about 7mins since you need to walk out of the complex to the street and then to the lifts. "

"We were moving my mother’s belongings for her in a U-Haul, but decided to take a scenic route through the eastern Sierras and have a couple of nice stays on the way. When I pulled up in front to check in, the bell hop seemed annoyed, even condescending that we had pulled up in a U-Haul. He rather snidely informed us that there was no parking for over-sized vehicles, and then directed me to move it to their loading dock doors (the vehicle was not blocking the driveway in front of the hotel). Not satisfied with how I parked the vehicle, he found me inside while checking in and rather rudely asked me for the vehicle key so he could park it as he felt necessary - completely inappropriate demeanor for a first interaction with a client/guest. Later, we ordered food at the hotel bar which turned out to be really disappointing. Even some of the staff made disparaging remarks about the restaurant. Terrible experience for a relatively expensive stay."
