「The home was exactly as pictured, beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and plenty of trees, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. 「This stay was a wonderful experience! We spent Christmas at Gloria's house and it was perfect. The house and grounds are beautiful, with a gorgeous view. We enjoyed the well-maintained trail down to the river from the house, and visited the Blue Falls - highly recommend for those able to manage some stairs and elevation. We had a couple dinners cooked by the neighbors and they were delicious. Yadi and her family are very kind, and invited the kids to see their newborn calf. We enjoyed listening...

We visited the nearby la paz gardens, which was amazing. And we went up to see the poas volcano, which cleared up nicely for us so we get a good look. And of course loved our visits from mani and duke, the resident pups!! A wonderful stay in a beautiful home. 」

「The house is old and needs lots of up keep. Walls are cracked and flaking. No hot water to bathroom sinks and maintaining a constant water temperature in the shower is impossible. There is no hot tub, the reference is to a bathtub, a language problem. Also, lighting in the bathroom is very bad. Push on lights were placed over the stove to give better light there as the kitchen is also dark. Walking into town takes about 10 mins and is an easy and nice walk. People very friendly. 「Nice room with lots of storage around the bed. Complete kitchenette and laundry room with cute washer. Bathroom is decent. Close to everything as advertised. A bit noisy some nights but otherwise great little place. Not for the picky traveler. Definitely comfortable little apartment.」

「Location was good. We felt safe and it was easy to find. Beds/bedding was in good shape. The layout of the house was a bit "odd" but no problems or issues. We had some insects in the house (mostly ants). I assume that's jungle living and it wasn't an issue. 」
