    The Byrd Nest, 3 bedroom, 2 bath cozy family-friendly place to create memories. Sleeps 7, one Queen size bed per 3 BR + 1 inflatable queen mattress. Five (5) TVs one per BR, 1 in living room & 65in TV in sunroom. Relax in a fenced in backyard w/cup of coffee/tea, sound of chirping birds,beautiful NC cardinals. Soak up sunrays, fire up grill & spread a scrumptous meal on picnic table. Features washer/dryer, coffee maker, air fryer, crockpot, blender. Come rest/relax/ play/ work in Rocky Mount!

Cozy stay in Rocky Mount

Great location and easy access to Rocky Mount and the freeway. Clean, very communicative host, and the rooms and bathrooms were great. Lots of space too!

Great Stay

Mami was great! Very helpful when we had to change dates. The house is exactly has it shows in the pictures. Located in a great place from the places we needed to go. Would definitely stay there again.

Great rental

This was a lovely place in a quiet neighborhood. Not too far from anything. House was clean and owner was easy to communicate with. Would definitely rent again.

The Byrd Nest

Loved, loved, LOVED everything about this stay. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and out of the way. Everything was clean and welcoming upon arrival and the host/hostess were communicative and available for any and all we needed. We will be back, and will most certainly look to stay here again.

Lovely home in quiet neighborhood

The home is just lovely. It’s nicely decorated and you can tell the hosts cares. We were surprised to find a second bathroom because the listing only stated one.We wanted to sit outside because the weather was nice, but there was pollen all over the furniture so we had to wipe it down.Also, we were supposed to be able to check in at 3:00. When we arrived, the housekeepers were still there. We weren’t allowed in the home until after six. We were given a late check out as a consolation. That helped.

Everything went smoothly from the booking to check-in to getting around the area to checking out. The house’s location was perfect and had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The kitchen was large and had lots of gadgets to use! I didn’t need anything! If you’re looking for a “home away from home” this place is it!

Perfect spot for us

Two friends and I stayed here for two nights. Everything was as described in the listing and it was a comfortable place for us to stay and catch up with each other. There were plenty of towels, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, and some basic cooking gear, and the bedrooms had room for us to put our stuff. It was also conveniently located to the Sylvan Heights Bird Park (in Scotland Neck) and the Vollis Simpson Whirlygig Park (in Wilson), which I mention only because they are such well kept secrets. The host was responsive to my questions, and check in and check out was easy. If I was coming back to this part of North Carolina again, I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay at the Byrd nest

This was my first vacation home my family and I have ever booked so I really had no idea what to expect but after our stay at The Byrd Nest we surely do have high expectations for the next ones! The communication with the homeowners from the beginning was exceptional all the way to the end of our stay. We did have some issues checking into the home but as soon as I communicated with Mamie, the home owner, the issue was instantly resolved. I mean when I say the customer service was incredible, I sincerely do mean it! Mamie and her husband made sure our stay was great and possible, these two are very understanding, empathetic & patient people which is just what a family needs when booking a vacation home! My family and I want to thank the homeowners for our wonderful stay, definitely will be booking again!
