I stayed at this hotel in Sep 2023. It takes 30-60 mins from the airport of Lalibela. Since there is no public transport from the airport, you need to book a lift...

"Avoid this scam! We booked this hotel and payed in advance with Expedia. As we checked out the hotel asked for 100 USD for 2 nights which is way higher than it should be. As of now(2020/01/25) the hotel claims that they don't work with Expedia. The host speaks only numbers and a few English words making communication impossible and scamming quite possible. We asked to book a shuttle to the airport the day before but they only called the shuttle service 30 mins before departure. The shuttle...

"Beautiful property in a nice environment. Fantastic staff in every department. Very helpful, kind and welcoming at all times. Our villa was huge and nice. The restaurant for breakfast very nice and so was the dinner with them.
