This place is amazing. Staff are pleasant, property and rooms are beautiful and clean. Our only issue is with the restaurant on the property. Not sure if it’s independently run, but the food was not good. Gnocchi had to be sent back because it was truly terrible, falling apart and tasted like raw flour. We changed it for what sounded like an eggplant parmesean or something similar from the “main course” section of the menu only for it to come as a cold plate of raw ingredients, essentially a salad. The other plates were just ok. The server was nice, so we didn’t want to send that back as well but overall it was horrible in every way. Too bad because it didn’t match the accommodations at all. would definitely stay here again because outside of the restaurant experience it was 10/10. The spa was truly incredible. As someone that uses spas anywhere and everywhere I go, it was one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Truly remarkable.

Top in der Toskana

Ein schönes Refugium. Ideal, um Ausflüge nach Siena, Montalcino oder an die Küste zu unternehmen. Der Ort selbst (Roccastrada) ist nicht sonderlich interessant. Erstklassiger Pool, schönes Restaurant, gute Küche - ein sensationelles Frühstücksbuffet.

Wonderful place in the mountains of Tuscany!

We really enjoyed our stay at La Melosa. Charming rooms, nice staff and beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was nothing fancy but alright. The restaurant at the hotel was nice though!

Cara Signora Giada, mi rivolgo proprio a lei, lei che si è permessa di dirmi che dovevo, - vaccinare mia figlia ( di 5 anni) - mettergli la mascherina ( 5 anni!) signora cara, mi spiace che lei sia stata letteralmente mangiata dalla situazione pandemica, e la sua lucidità sia stata cos’ soggiocata. mi spiace per il marito, persona gentile ed affabile, mi spiace per la struttura che NON merita! in risposta a quanto ha scritto su google, nessuno le avrebbe negato 10 euro per la colazione della bimba, nessuno avrebbe negato di spostare l’auto se dava fastidio. qui parliamo di lei e di cosa si è permessa di dire andando oltre a quello che il nostro STATO dice! un consiglio, lasci la struttura proliferare senza che lei debba essere il cancro che la ostacola. buona giornata.

Herrlich gelegen, etwas abseits, dafür sehr ruhig. Man merkt, dass die Gastgeber Ihr ganzes Herzblut in Hotel und Restaurant stecken. Alles tiptop sauber, freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück. Super sauberer Pool. Generell ist alles top gepflegt. Kann man nur empfehlen. Schade, dass es so weit weg ist (1.200 km)...

This property was charming and beautiful. The breakfast was very nice; the dinners as well. (These were not “knock-your-socks-off” meals, but they were good and much more than adequate for my tastes. The location, ambiance, and vistas, especially at breakfast, started each day wonderfully.) There was one surprising thing, which I enjoyed, though some might not. Barn swallows lived in the eaves and ceiling of the only stairway to the rooms. The charming part was having them fly by each time up and down the stairs (one flight only). The less charming part were bird droppings that the staff cleaned each night but were still often underfoot. Overall, and exceptionally nice stay. The bedroom was exquisitely decorated. The mattress was the best I have experienced in any hotel. .
